You are buying a Lot of 9 Elenco 1% x 1 Watt Resistor Substitution Boxes- need work Some of these are labeled"broken" and measure a small resistance when all the switches are turned off. Or don't measure anything. Some of them have a base resistance, and then the switches add and subtract like they should, they just aren't zeroed out. Great for a project or class to repair. You can see from the inside pictures that these are pretty simple. And most probably just need a new switch or a new resistor somewhere. These would be great for a maker space or electronics class. Or giving your kids a chance to troubleshoot a basic circuit. Plus, when you are done, you have a resistor substitution box worth over $40! You will never see a lot like this again. Needless to say. You are buying them AS IS.
