PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION. This is a partially working oscilloscope. Channel 2 has some digital noise on it. And the error log complains about a possibly bad memory chip. The other three channels work perfectly, but at 2GS/s(when all converters are interleaved) there is some digital noise as well. Insta-Vu mode also doesn't produce a trace. Signal Path Compensation routine always passes. The screen and the rest of the scope are in excellent shape. Guaranteed to be in the condition described. But no returns if the unit is opened. Tektronix TDS744A 500Mhz 4ch Digital Oscilloscope - works perfect
Up for auction is a working TDS744A digital oscilloscope. This nice unit has 4 channels and 500Mhz. And comes with the following options: 1F- Floppy disk drive, 2F- extended math. Including FFT, 13- serial/parallel port, This unit passes the self test and passes SPC every time. The error log is clean. All channels work properly. And unit triggers fine on all channels. Display is clean and bright and looks wonderful, with no burn marks. I am able to save and read waveforms and setup files on the floppy drive. GPIB operation works as expected as well. This scope is void of any of the troublesome caps on the acquisition board that plagued the older scopes of the TDS variant scopes. This is an outstanding clean unit with a nice display. The pictures do not do justice to the CRT on this scope. The case is clean and very nice condition. This unit ... moresupports probes with the Tekprobe interface. P6245 and P6205 FET probes work well on this unit. No probes or accessories are included with this auction, only the scope itself.
