Powers on No readout Scale Illum is ok Fails at least one self test I know this because on power up. Front panel lights do not complete the startup sequence. After"ok" ing the startup error, pressing the front panel buttons changes the scope settings like normal. The VAR knob POT rear cover is loose so this POT needs to be replaced. Other POTs look ok. Up for auction is a Tektronix 2465 Analog Oscilloscope in a Rack Adapter with an AM 503B Current Probe Amplifier. The units are in ok physical condition but show signs of use with some scuffing and ground in grime. The 2465 Oscilloscope powers on and takes quite a while to get working. After it warms up a bit the screen finally displays a line. After fiddling with some of the knobs. The display can disappear. I have a feeling this CRT may be on its way out. I tried testing it with a knock sensor of a known value and was.thwarted by the fact I don't know how to operate an oscilloscope. youtube got me so close but I didn't have proper leads and the signal was picking up a lot of other noise.it did something though) Anyway: as-is price should cover it. Invert knob is missing in the plug-in units' channel 1. The knob connects to a long rod.that aint there either. One of the lock knobs. out of 4) is unresponsive. The cover that protects the, original power cord, needs and machine screw and the backing female to close up.but that's on the back. High serial# of 011495 as well as the plug-in which is 010xxx. This things pretty clean.

Here we have up for sale a nice Tektronix 2465b analog oscilloscope. It is in perfect working condition and has all knobs and buttons. The carry handle has been previously removed. The serial number on this one is B016679 and as shown in the pictures has the through hole A5 board and not the problematic smd one. The date code stamped on several components shows June- July'89. This also has the original Tek u800 ic. I have personally replaced ALL electrolytic capacitors in this unit on ALL boards with new high quality Panasonic and Nichicon caps. The trace is bright and clear. As well. It has been recently calibrated by a professional calibration lab. And now included is a free Tek P6138 350mhz probe(with ground clip) so you can plug this in and start probing immediately.
