Roughly speaking, 165-2393-00 will limit a 400MHz scope's bandwidth to about 360MHz, whereas a 155-0237-00 will let it work to around 450MHz. This means there is no reason to have the better one in a 2445, 2445A, or 2445B, but there is good reason to use them in 2465B and 2467B. 2465 and 2465A leave you a choice of little consequence. You will not notice any bandwidth difference between these 2 part#s on 150 or 200 Mhz 2400s. The typical symptom of a failed(or failing) U600 is inability to center anything on screen, even with beamfinder invoked.
