I find not keeping track of hours by plain 2465 to be a serious drawback(you wouldn't want 1 that racked 262000 hours in its 30 years existance by being left on all the time, or even with 66000 hours if it was left on 1/4th the time) Scopes I sell have clocked less than 20000 hours. For 2465A that works out to no more ON than about 1/10th of the time. The only advantage I can think of that plain 2465 had was not needing a Li battery for memory backup.
