This 5440 50 MHz Oscilloscope is CLEAN! This unit is cooled by a non-filtered fan. Yet there is no dust anywhere in the oscilloscope. The circuit boards are clean, and the components are shiny! It appears that the mainframe has had little run time. The plug-ins are not original to the scope, but you'll get the best units from my inventory. They are in nice condition. Only the time base has buttons that have yellowed with age. The scope comes with a 5A48 Dual Trace Amplifier, which gives you two channels with a bandwidth of 50 MHz, and a 5A14N which gives you 4 more channels at 1 MHz. The 5B42 is a delaying time base that also runs at 50 MHz. So there are 2 channels at 50 MHz, and 4 channels at 1 MHz, a total of 6 channels. In the pictures, you will see how it displays a 1 MHz signal(from a tired Heathkit RF generator! The exterior is ... morealso clean, with only minor paint nicks and rubs on the edges. I have up for auction a Vintage Electronic Oscilloscope that has been tested and it works. This has a 6 inch round screen. Duel Trace, This was Calibrated 12- 77. This a 1950's Vintage piece. I myself do not have much knowledge on this kind of stuff but a friend who does tested this out and it still works. The Oscilloscope is approx. 15.5 inches long,8 inches wide and 11 inches tall. It is in good condition for the age of the piece. This came from the estate of a man who had an Electronics store in Ma. It was gently used in his business. Wrapped you are looking at 30 lbs. Heathkit Vintage Oscilloscope O 6 type
This oscilloscope works when plugged in. I wanted to point out this came from a very large electronics estate where many of the electronics were modified. As you can see in the pictures the unit has been modified and has a larger viewing screen installed. I am not an electronics person so all I can tell you is the scope works when plugged in and the screen changes from an oval light to a horizontal line when the dials are turned. This may or may not be an O 6 model but the unit looks almost identical to other o6 pictures I have seen. Sold as is with no warranties. 17 1/2" long(20 inches including added on visor) 13 inches high, 8 1/2 inches wide. approximately 30 pounds. Option of local pick up is ok. Just let me know.
