This powerful oscilloscope has a 1 GHz bandwidth(350 ps rise time. With 10 ps time resolution) and a nice color screen. Has two channels, and two additional exte rnal trigger inputs. It has many useful features. Such as variable/infinite persistence, sophisticated logic triggering modes, lots of automatic measurements, and the ability to display one channel versus the other. It also has a modular input/probe preamplifier scheme that uses plugins for different applications such as high-speed active probes. This one comes with 3 general-purpose 50 ohm input pods. As with all HP instruments, the use/repairs manuals for this can be downloaded free from Agilent or from other websites. I have checked out the functions of the scope pretty extensively. And everything works well. It has not been calibrated for a while but does not seem to be way off ... morefor anything I would use it for. It passes all of its self tests(see photos) The colors came out a bit flat in the photos(the blue trace looks very similar to the gray background grid) but in person they are bright and vibrant.
