This Scope includes the original 2 Hitachi Oscilloscope Probes in their packaging. AT-10AR, R/C Input 10 M Ohm/ 19.5 pFarads, ATT Ratio 1/10. This is a good instrument to diagnose electrical circuit/ experiment problems or to locate a bad component in an amplifier. Stereo, radio, etc since you can actually"see" how a particular component is working, not working well, or simply not working at all. And it helps to be able to see two channels at once so you can compare signals, such as input and output. For example in an amplifier circuit you can look at the input and work backwards from the output to see where the fault lies. Also two signals are essential for comparing stereo signals or for ... morecomparing digital with the clock/ trigger signal. The Hitachi V212 Operation Manual contains complete operator instructions including how to set it up for the first time(page 15 of the manual) and how to obtain displays for AC and DC voltage. Frequency, time difference, and rise and fall times. The two independent channels may be used for X-Y measurements. Two channel measurements at different frequencies may be also measured.
