Condition: The unit has been used and tested in my lab and works great. Functions(cursor measurements. AC/DC coupling, frequency counter, triggering, XY display mode. Beam finder, amplitude, horizontal sweep adjustments, alig nment. Accuracy. To name a few, etc. have been tested and work great. The highest RF signal I am able to produce in my lab for testing/displaying is 15MHz(see photo) All four input channels are working excellent(see first few photos for all 4 channel s displaying the same 200m Vpp. 1kHz, sin usoid al waveform at 100mV/div) Unit is in very clean cosmetic condition and has been used in a smoke-free lab environment. CRT is very clear and not scuffed up or damaged. Graticule. Focus, and intensity adjustments work well. This piece is well taken care of. Preserved, and is in excellent condition. Used unit in good physical and electrical condition. We have checked this unit out and it seems to be in good operating condition. The B +/ trigger switch does operate. But the shaft seems to be loose inside the unit. This came in from a test facility that had some older equipment that they ... moredidn't need anymore. This looks like it was in storage and not used for awhile. A lot of stuff we get from h ere works fine. See a lot of great positive feedbacks we have gotten from these. And haven't been tested and sold as parts/repair, so must have been pretty good! I am not a technician, but I did plug it in and it fired up okay. F irst powered up and showed a trace pretty much centered in the lower part of the grid. I moved the trace left/right. Up/down. Increased/decreased intensity. Adjusted the focus, etc. I decided to punch a bunch of buttons to get the panel to light up and show that it does seem to work somewhat. Came up with two different traces, with two lines in each trace. Picture three has a dual trace in the center(center two lines) with a bigger dual trace(upper and lower lines) enclosing the inner dual trace.There is not much else I can do to test this since I have no probes. Machine looks great and looks like it would run just fine. B ut since I can't test. Will be selling as a parts/repair unit and sold AS IS. Showed some things I can do, and looks to work somewhat. This unit is in good physical condition with only minor scuffs and scratches due to normal wear. All the labeling is clear and legible. We have tested both inputs of this'scope with a function generator(NOT INCLUDED) and found that channel 1 performs without any problems. However channel two would not show a trace on the display. Tektronix 485 2 Channel 350MHz Analog Oscilloscope
I have had this scope for a number of years with light use. Cosmetics are pretty good. A few of the little rubber switch ends have cracks. The feet have a few bits of plastic off but that is about it. Last cal was decades ago. If the scope is not used for a long period sometimes it is necessary to cycle the switches but they come back. I believe it is all working but have not tested some of the less used functions like z axis. The scope is a 2 channel. The four traces in the picture show mixed B delayed by A mode. A 485 has roughly a 300- 350MHz bandwidth with the proper probes. No probes or manual are included. I have a pdf of the maintenance manual if desired.
