Tektronics 456b 100MHz dual channel oscilloscope. Very clean and very nice condition for age. Includes 2 working probes. Factory manual, extra probe& RF parts There is a great deal of information for these on the web. And this scope is well liked by all who have used it. Both channels work. All basic trigger functions operate on both channels, trace is bright& sharp, no trace burn in, grid backlight works. KNOWN ISSUES Trace brightness pot flaky but works. Delayed trigger switch flaky but appears to work. Grid brightness control flaky but works as well. Focus knob does not turn but trace is in focus. Will be packed well. UP FOR AUCTION is(1) USED TEKTRONIX 465 B Dual Channel 100 MHz Oscilloscope. Unit will be sold to not be DOA. Looks like there is a sticker that states"01-29-90" was last calibration date. There is minor signs of age and use. These are rock solid oscilloscopes and will do the job for you. Unit appears to function properly. All controls operate. As you can see in the pictures, a calibration trace was acquired on both Channels A and B. There are no probes, covers or manuals included with the sale. At the time. This oscilloscope was purchased from a knowledgeable seller, unit#3 of 5 units they had available. I had originally intended to learn repair work but that opportunity never materialized. Therefore this scope was never used by me. I selected this particular model after much research and recommendations from industry techs with a history of repairing recent equipment and vintage components. The Tektronix 465B Oscilloscope was considered the industry standard in 100MHz portable oscilloscopes for many years and still remains very desirable today. The unit has a white sticker on top that says"calibrated" ... moreso it's been bench tested for accuracy at some point. I am not familiar with how this unit functions. Therefore the unit must be sold as is, however the unit powers on fine and appears to work as it should. Extra time was taken to research and purchase the correct genuine Tektronix test probes and instruction manual that are best compatiable with the Tektronix 465B. Tektronix 465B Dual-Trace 100 MHz Oscilloscope Powered up and tested to the extent of my knowledge. Which is very limited I have powered this oscilloscope up and checked both channels. Readings were obtained by both(see pictures) The pictures are of the actual oscilloscope. It includes the DM44 multi-meter, instruction/service manual, operation manual for oscilloscope and multi-meter. There are various leads, included. 1 10x,1 15x, and 1 that is adjustable. A new protective cover for the screen is included. It will ship with the cart as shown in the pictures. When working with it I noticed the trigger holdoff adjustment was very touchy. Not sure if that is normal or not, but I needed to mention it.
