This scope is an absolute work-horse and has a lot of bells and whistles! Channels 1& 2 have selectable 50 ohm and 1Mohm inputs. Condition: The unit has been used and tested in my lab and works great. Functions(cursor measurements. AC/DC coupling, frequency counter, triggering, XY display mode. Beam finder, amplitude, horizontal sweep adjustments, alig nment. Accuracy. To name a few, etc. have been tested and work great. The highest RF signal I am able to produce in my lab for testing/displaying is 15MHz(see photo) All four input channels are working excellent(see first few photos for all 4 channel s displaying the same 200m Vpp. 1kHz, sin usoid al waveform at 100mV/div) Unit is in very clean cosmetic condition and has been used in a smoke-free lab environment. But you can now get it for a tiny fraction, working as well as new. ... more2465A was successor to best selling 2465 and predecessor to 2465B. 2465A added: keeping track of hours on, auto-scaling(idiotproof button) and front panel knob setting(setups) memory. I find not keeping track of hours by plain 2465 to be a serious drawback(you wouldn't want 1 that racked 262000 hours in its 30 years existance by being left on all the time, or even with 66000 hours if it was left on 1/4th the time) Scopes I sell have clocked less than 20000 hours. For 2465A that works out to no more ON than about 1/10th of the time. Another serious drawback of plain 2465 is a no longer made fan. 2465A uses a still available fan, and I do replace them as bearings wear. The only advantage I can think of that plain 2465 had was not needing a Li battery for memory backup. I routinely replace the Li battery in 2465As I sell(doubt others do, since doing it deletes cal) This Tek 2465A. A 350MHz analog scope, will be sent to you freshly calibrated, and ready to use. I can email you the op manual or copy it unto a CD& send it along with scope. I have several. A few of the little rubber switch ends have cracks. The feet have ... morea few bits of plastic off but that is about it. Last cal was decades ago. If the scope is not used for a long period sometimes it is necessary to cycle the switches but they come back. I believe it is all working but have not tested some of the less used functions like z axis. The scope is a 2 channel. The four traces in the picture show mixed B delayed by A mode. A 485 has roughly a 300- 350MHz bandwidth with the proper probes. No probes or manual are included. I have a pdf of the maintenance manual if desired.

Tektronix 2465 Oscilloscope WORKS PERFECTLY w/ 2x P6139A, HP 1160A, P6131 PROBES
Back in 2009 at MIT. I was given two Tek 2465's, none of which was working. I used the parts from one to make the other one working. I did a complete teardown and rebuild, and then thoroughly and carefully cleaned and calibrated the scope. I also serviced the fan(cleaned and re-lubricated the bearings) It has been my main and very trusted scope for these last four years now. I am very sad to let it go. But I am about to start grad school and need a way to pay it. This Tek 2465 is in EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION. All functions and ranges are working and it has been calibrated to the best of the equipment available to me. I am including FOUR probes with a pouch and many add-ons(see pictures) TWO Tektronix 6139A in PERFECT condition. These are 500MHz probes. And have seen very little use. These go for ~$100 each on ebay. ONE HP 1160A working ... morePERFECT with the box and almost every accessory(see pic) Another 500MHz probe. The only small problem it has is that the top plastic shell is missing from the scope-end of the probe. This has no effect on the probe functioning. These go for ~$100-200 each on ebay. ONE Tek 6131A. working well but does have some scratch marks(doesn't affect the performance) I am including two replacement resistor tips. I am showing a picture of all four probes connected to the calibration output showing that all four channels work and all probes are compensated ok. Another picture shows all self tests are passed. I am also including the parts from the other 2465 scope. Main board. Digital boards, HV power supply, controls/knobs board, and a bag of screws.
