And I’m going to sneak out to a barn sale today- so wish me luck, I’m sure it will be a cccchhhilllling experience at minimum! I’ve got lots of primitives this week for you- antique and charming, as well as advertising, artwork, material- there’s something for everyone! There's just one word for this pair- prettyprettypretty! What I have are a pair of antique. Hand made, tin wire post card holders- and one post card- it's a pretty floral card with the name"James" hand written on the front, and the name"Grace" hand written on the back. The card was not mailed, and you can see the 1 cent US/Canada price and the 2 cent"Foreign" price! It is marked on the side as being made in Germany, and ... moreis in excellent condition- with minor rubbing on the corners. I'm showing how the holders hold the card- they'd be perfect for displaying photos too, or any other light ephemera piece that you may want to display. The holders have the wonderful wacky whimsical look of hand made wireware- with slight variations in size- the wire bending this way or that. One has the wire at the very top bending forward to hold the card in place, and the other has the wire at the top bending to the back- it was clearly intentionally dont- I'm assuming in order to hold a piece larger than a post card. I did not try to bend it, or bend it back in any way- these are old holders, and I did not want to break it. To see the difference between the two at the top, compare photos 3& 6 with photos 10& 11. Both have two"hook" arms at the bottom for holding the piece in place- and both of the holders display the post card securely. The one with the loop at the top going forward measures 4 7/8" tall and the one with the loop going to the back is a smidge taller at 5" tall. Both are about 1 1/4" wide and the front hook arms are 1 1/2" apart give or take a smidg

Offered here is an original Aloris Quick Change Tool Post. Model BXA. This tool post is recommended for use on 10" to 15" Swing Lathes. The tool post is equipped with the more desireable Wedge Type Clamp and it does not appear to have been used extensively. The dove tails look to be in good condition and they open and close smoothly. The T Nut measures approximately 1-9/16" wide x 3" Long x 0.335" The machined tang that slides between the compound jaws measures 1" wide x 3/8" high. I would think that this T Nut could be machined if necessary in order for it to fit your lathe. Included with the tool post are(4) Tool Holders. ORIGINAL KDK SERIES 100 QUICK CHANGE TOOL POST with #102 and #103 TOOL HOLDERS
This KDK 100 tool post and#102. 103 tool holder is used but in very good, non rust and uncrashed condition. It came out of a toolroom environment where it was handled well by skilled tool builders. The#102 holder appears to be older than the#103, as the finish is slighlty faded and has a few blemishes, but nothing that can't be seen in the photos. Both holders have all their set screws. I have a T-nut and SHCS bolt(not pictured) that attaches the post to the compound rest. At buyer's request, and after receiving payment, I will ship them with the holders. I prefer PayPal and expect payment within(3) days of the winning bid, and will usually ship within 24 hrs. of receiving said payment. Up for sale is a Aloris tool post model CXA. Item is in good usable condition and comes with the tool holders described below. Items could have scratches and marks from use. 2 = CXA#2 one has a Kenametal insert holder# NC3 SCLPL-062. 1 = CXA 4 boring tool holder with boring bar and inserts. 1 = Cut off tool holder# 25-6 92356 with isertable cut off tool. Rocker Tool Post for 10" - 12" Atlas / Craftsman Lathe, with 2 Holders & Wrench
Offered here is a Tool Post that came from a 12" Craftsman Lathe. It should also be suitable for use on 10" to 12" Atlas or Craftsman Lathes. To held determine if this will fit your lathe. The body of the tool post measures 1" and the T Nut measures 1" x 1-3/8" x 0.280" The Turning Tool Holder and Cut Off tool, as well as the wrenches, are included. The tool post needs a little attention. It is complete and will probably work as is. But I can only turn the lock bolt 1/2 way out, then it gets tight. It should probably be removed, cleaned and fitted, and then reassembled. Other than that it is used but should be fine.
