Up for bid is a large green glass pitcher with ice lip by Hazel Atlas in their 1930's"Diamond Optic" pattern. It is 8" high to the top of the spout. Holds 54 oz. and has the HA mark on the bottom. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches. We are not sure and we do not guarantee that they are from these makers. What we do know is that they are very old. they have been in our family and handed down for at least 3 generations. They belonged to my wifes great grandmother before she passed. There is one small chip on the lip of one of the Tumblers. The color shows mostly in the thick pillows near the base. These goblets are not marked with the Heisey diamond. They were found at an old antique store, many years ago. There are 6 total with all 6~ being completly MINT ~ NEVER USED! These gorgeous Cobalt BlueTumblers were some of the rarist. They are a complete match to the straight Moderntone Fluted{OPTIC} juice tumblers. Except these have the 3-ring with no flutes! The first ring starts at 1" down the top of the tumbler with the second ring at 1 1/4" down and the third ring at 1 1/2" down from the rim. The mouth width is at 3" across. With the base at 2 1/8" across and an overall height of 4 1/8" All tumblers have the Hazel Atlas(HA) on the bottom of the tumbler. Never mind the glares in the picture. The glass is nice and clear. there are no chips.Cracks or fleabites. There are some strawmarks that are common on depression glass. They are around the inside area of the handle. See the second picture. They are surface marks made during manufacture. Insurance is included in the shipping cost.
