FJW INFRARED VIEWER Up for bid is a used infrared viewer mfg. by FJW model# 84499A in good working condition. The housing has some scratches on it. This unit uses a type 6914 infrared image tube. The tube image is clear and has good IR sensitivity and low noise. This is a 1.2 um unit. But I have verified that it will see lower than spec as I can see a 1310 nm laser light spot(with reduced sensitivity past 1200 nm) Operates on one"C" cell battery. The last picture shows an infrared TV remote control looking through this viewer. Hey there. I have a Huges Probeye 650 camera. It is well used but i know it works great. It comes with a battery belt. The batteries im unsure of. They may need to be charged or replaced. Also comes with the pictured boxes. They are chargers but i dont know anything about the. 1 extra argon gas tank is include. Plus the one on the camera. So 2 total. Up for auction is a Hughes Probeye infrared viewer. This item came to us as part of a surplus lot of mostly working equipment. The unit is in great shape. The viewer has some sticker residue but otherwise looks to be in good condition. The case is a little scuffed up and has some leftover tape on it from previous use but appears to be in good shape with no major damage. The Argon tank currently on the unit is marked"Valve Leaks" We are unable to confirm whether this is true(may have been a misconception by a previous owner) but believe it to refer only to the Argon tank itself and not the infrared viewer.
