This splicer is in Good cosmetic condition with a few minor(normal) blemishes from use. There is one very small crack on the'top' electrode cover. But it does not affect operation. There is also a very fine scratch on the screen we almost didn't see. The worst is the right-side hinge on the heater, which is broken but stays in place if you are careful. Notes: This splicer is in Good working condition. We lack a proper fiber cleaver. But even with rough ends on our fibers the machine was able to make a joint, then analyze and tell us how bad the joint was. This unit passes LED. Motor, Dust and Stuff checks. We were able to get it to run an Arc Calibration test but we did not let it complete because we had the wrong fiber type. All the motors and the vision system work. It was able to auto-detect fiber type and measure cleave angles. The sensors give appropriate environmental data. The screen is clear and bright. The heater heats and blows hot air.
