I had purchased the bulb on eBay and they are readily available. I also believe there might be a loose connection in the wiring, as sometimes the bulb would flicker when I was using it. I didn't look closely at this, but it should be an easy fix. That being said, this is sold AS IS! It should fix up easily or perhaps it can be used for parts. Everything else is in very good shape- the lens. Case, rollers, etc. NO RETURNS! It isn't terribly heavy to carry. But is for shipping purposes, therefore shipping won't be cheap. The unit packaged weighs approximately 18 pounds. But the starting price is low enough that shipping shouldn't be an issue. I plugged in the reader and it is in working condition and lights up properly. I am very unfamiliar with these but it appears everything is present and in working condition. I do not see anything that is obviously broken or damaged or cracks in the case of the reader. The coed is also in good shape. The reader may be discolored a bit.I am unsure if it was white at one time. The pictures are part of the description so please look them over carefully to see the condition for yourself. Vintage Ektalite120 Microfiche Reader.
You are bidding on a vintage Kodak microfiche reader. This is the Ektalite 120 Reader. I don't know much about it. It belonged to my grandfather and I believe he bought it in the early 1970s. It looks great and is not broken or damaged. I plugged it in and tested the light.the bulb is working with no problems. The unit stands about 14 inches tall. It's 8 inches wide and 11 inches deep at the biggest point. Hope someone can use this.
