Brooklyn NY" but we cannot find anything on this company. The outside box is black(looks like some kind of animal skin) with three(3) gold colored metal latches to keep it closed. That still work fine, but will need some polishing.The outside cover has some minor wear and some white paint on one end(see photos) but nothing too drastic, can probably be removed with some cleaner. I am selling it at a discounted price because it has a defect, although it is one that you will probably never see at an average viewing distance of 10 or more feet. There are stains or discolorations in the lower half of the screen that can only be seen with white(or light grey) still colored images at a distance of about 7 or fewer feet. I had the screen for 5 months before I ever saw it, and even then it was only because I was standing right in front of it one time while there was a light grey colored still image on the screen. I never see this defect when I'm watching from my couch(which is 11 or 12 feet away from the screen) There is also a smudge mark ... morein the lower left side of the screen from cleaning, but like the stains, is not really visible. The picture quality of this screen is amazing. I have mine paired with an Epson 5020 projector and use it as my tv. It looks great in both light and dark environments. I personally think this looks much better than an image from an LED tv. The only reason I'm even selling this is because the manufacturer is replacing mine with a new one. I have included several pictures with various lighting settings(completely dark with and without the LED lights on, with a fully lit room, and one picture that displays the discoloration seen up close) If you don't mind that the screen has a defect(that you'll probably never see from your seat) this is an excellent value. I think I bought this in the'70s for my slide collection. I think it's been in the closet full-time since the 80s. I kind of forgot it was there. To be frank. So, it's hardly used and in great shape. The screen looks mint, though on the backside there's some color difference(see photo) probably from being stored all these years. A little of, I don't know if it's"rust, exactly on the tripod. but some sort of aging is going on there. The tripod, the pole, and everything works great. Since I'm lazy about shipping this big. Standard Model 666 Film Projector With Case, Model 40 Record Player & Screen
I'm not a projector enthusiast so if there is something I don't' mention here that is important please let me know. There are 2 films included with the projector. Both are promoting air travel. There is also a record on the same topic. I assume it goes with one or both of them. The projector powers on and works fine. I unfortunately didn't load the film right so as you can see in the photos. It is backwards. The button advance works also. The fan runs smooth and quietly(for the time period) and the bulb gets very hot. Which I think is normal. I viewed one whole strip without any problems. The record player unfortunately will not rotate. Not sure what is wrong there. However, rotating the record with my hand did make it play. So everything from the needle to the speaker is working right. I'm assuming the motor that rotates ... moreor the switch is messed up. Please notice also that the"padding" that the records set on has worn off. It's a very rough surface now that I'd be worried would scratch the records at this point. There is a screen included. It appears to have never been used but does have some yellowing on it. Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll try to help. Da-Lite Vintage Portable Slide Film Movie Projector Silver SCREEN 40" X 40" VGUC
Up for sale is a Vintage Da Lite Flyer Movie/Slide Projector Screen in its original box. The screen opens up smoothly and can be adjusted to different heights using the locking mechanism on the back of the vertical rod. The hook on top of the screen than hooks on the top of the rod. It is 40" wide and if it is fully extended it is 40" high. As you can see in the pictures the lower right hand side(as you face it) has a mark on the screen all the way on the bottom when you extend it fully. It had a little discoloration about the size of a dime and unfortunately when I tried to clean it I removed some of the finish on the screen. If you extend it to 38-39" not quite fully extended) as it is in the first picture you can't see it and the rest of the screen is in excellent condition. None of the metal parts are rusted or scratched ... morebut there is a slight dent to the left of the name. It does not affect the way the screen extends or retracts- it does that beautifully.
