US Army morticians used medical pathology tools produced by the Lipshaw Manufacturing Co. of Detroit. Michigan. This US Army Vietnam MORTUARY MORTICIAN POST-MORTEM KNIFE is in excellent, unused condition, with a bit of darkening at the left blade tip, a few small scattered darkened spots at the lower left side of the blade, and with some light scattered age wear evident(ALL pictured) Otherwise, the knife is in excellent shape, with absolutely no nicks, chipping, or other damage to the long blade. It boasts a 3.5" handle, and measures 14.5" overall. The knife features ... morea striated metal handle in excellent shape, and is stamped at the left side of the handle with its maker, LIPSHAW" along with"STAINLESS" and its location of manufacture, PAKISTAN" It comes complete in its original brown paper wrapping in poor condition, with heavy tearing at one end, and with some tearing through the nomenclature label(most pictured) Otherwise, the wrapping is in fine shape, and most interestingly, carries the original"EACH#751/ POST-MORTEM KNIFE" stamped nomenclature label, which is also marked with its matching maker, Lipshaw Manufacturing Co" The set is a fine example of a rare, original US Army Vietnam MORTUARY MORTICIAN POST-MORTEM KNIFE.
