VINTAGE 1940s MAHOGANY PINEAPPLE FULL-SIZE 4-POST BED FRAME-HEAD&FOOTBOARD in NY
This 4-post bed frame is absolutely beautiful. Some specifics: From the 1940's. On each post. There is a sculpted pineapple, the universal"welcome" symbol. Measures approximately 54" wide x 49" high. Used for full size bed. But I was told it would also work for a queen size as well. Check measurements above. Has six 3" thick wooden slats that hold mattress in place. And two 5" wooden slates for top and bottom. I believe it is mahogany. But not sure. Kept in a very clean. Bug-free, pet-free, and smoke-free house. Prefer local pick up in Brooklyn. GRAY 23D Telephone Post Pay Station I found this in a basement. I don't know anything about these phones other then what I have researched online. From images on Google it looks like a Gray 23-D. It weights 10 lbs 12 ozs. There is NO key for the lock. The glass telephone number plate is broken. And 2 of the tiny screws that hold the plate on. It say's"Do not deposit money until operator asks for it. It has the phone#231 on it. There is no cord coming out the back and receiver mouth piece is missing. The plate below the lock has numbers that read 124178. The first number(1) looks like an upside down 1. But could be a L or I. It has a little surface rust and chipping paint. 19th Century American Post Civil War rifle bayonet excellent antique condition
This bayonet is in excellent antique condition. It has no maker's marks on any part of the blade or holder. There is 90% original blueing on triangular blade shaft and the leather parts are all intact. Though the leather is worn and crackled. It is still functional and all original(no signs of restoration) E xperts are telling me this bayonet dates to post civil war period(Indian Wars. 1870's) The value I am placing on this military collectible is being determined by its condition and not its provenance. This fine example of an historic 19th century American rifle bayonet would make any collector proud. Ships to continental US only. Pet and smoke free home.
