Weaver K 2.5 Rifle Scope El Paso Made, Post Reticle With Brass End Rings
Up for bids is a Weaver K 2.5 rifle scope. This is El Paso made. Has the brass end caps, and the post and horizontal hair reticle. Has an S inside a diamond under the make and model lettering. Comes with a Weaver brand side mount. Just like I got it in. This came in a couple of years ago on a Marlin 336 rifle in 35 Remington. The whole set up came out of a gun shop in Maine. I wanted the rifle for a project that I am just getting around to now and I have no use for the scope. I do not know a lot about these older Weavers, but I can say the rifle that it came in on was made in 1949. I understand the Weavers with the black Windage and Elivation adjustment dials and the brass end rings are about the same age. I suspect the owner of the Marlin installed this scope on it about 1950. I have a soft spot for old rifles but never liked a lever gun ... morewith a scope. Anyway it is a great little scope. Nice and clear. Great workmanship and quality from a by gone era. Conditionwise the scope has seen some honest use. No bad dings or gouges, just looks like a guy had it on an old rifle and while he used them they are well taken case of. Here is a VERY hard to find piece of actual memorabilia from President Jimmy Carter's Boeing E4-B National Emergency Airborne Command Post! This panel came off of the onboard intercom and telephone from the plane. It was taken off by a Boeing employee in late 1979. When the aircraft was being retrofitted, or upgraded for Ronald Reagan I am told. Measures roughly 8x7 in size.

Comes with an extra internal spindle(5N-309-0054) which measures about 20" long, still in the Dumore wooden crate, in good working condition but has some light rust pits in it. Zuni DAN SIMPLICIO post-WWII Foliate Turquoise Coral Dot Inlay Ring SZ 8
Welcome! I'm offering for your consideration in a ten day auction with a modest reserve in relation to the value. A ring that was commissioned by Dan Simplicio by the first owner. It was his favorite ring. When he died, this ring was sold by his daughter. Dan Simplicio was one of the all time great masters of Zuni jewelry. He worked in countless styles and his work was always evolving. His work was represented liberally in the CG Wallace catalog for the Sotheby's auction and resides in the best galleries, museums and collections. Early in his career, Simplicio worked at C. G. Wallace's Zuni trading post, grinding and setting stones. Wallace collected his work; and, when his collection was auctioned at Sotheby's in 1975, it included more than 50 of his pieces. Simplicio was the first to use branch coral in its natural form ... moreand the first to set rough-cut coral nuggets on rings. He originated the nugget style around 1948, in an attempt to make cheaper commercial imitation of Zuni jewelry more difficult, and he introduced extensive use of leafwork in Zuni jewelry. While Simplicio learned to carve leaves from Juan Dedios, his son, Dan Simplicio, Jr. credits his father's World War II army service in Europe with the development of this innovation. Stationed in France, Germany and Italy, he observed the use of leafwork in classical and modern Western European sculpture. His use of cast shanks also began after WWI. This piece combines some of his most exciting elements: his characteristic leaves, the cast shanks he began to make after WWII and creative dot inlay work of coral into turquoise and the nugget style as well. The colors of these stones are especially wonderful, very rich turquoise contrasting well with the single dot raised inlay of coral. The coral had been lost and was replaced. The turquoise stone is set with a hand made scalloped bezel, then surrounded right and left with the leaves he used for so many years. Holy BIBLE 1555 FRENCH Fine BINDING Post INCUNABLE France FRANCOIS Handwritten
A Lyon: Chez Angelin Benoist. 1555. Strikingly bound post Incunable French Bible. Highlighted by elaborate gilt designing to the boards(original) as well as a highly engraved clasp(one of two remaining) gilt page edges with intricate gauffering, and finally, a later spine with raised, gilt ruled bands and titling. Illustrated vignette to the title page. The bible is an amazing 3.5" thick, 5" wide and 7" long. Although the front cover remains securely attached, the rear has since detached with a couple pages still holding to it, and the spine cover now swings free on one side; an easy fix. Within, there is some insect damage to a number of pages, affecting text in a good number of places as well as along the margins, mostly in the front and rear of the total pages(estimated about 6-8% of Bible affected) Interesting addition; ... morebefore the title page are three pages(front and back) with handwritten French notations in a gorgeous hand from the 16th century. As well as crossed away inscriptions on the title page. Later EPs and reinforcements in front and rear hinges. Possibly missing a leaf at the end of the Bible at the Tables, else complete. vintage post WWII Czech VZ58 Bayonet combat knife unused half tang 3 pin version
This nice vintage bayonet is 11 1/4 inches long overall with a 6 7/8 inch blade. The blade is carbon steel with a dull black finish. It has a long deep blood groove/ fuller on each side. It is marked H 9782 6. This variation of the bayonet has a half tang. Redish/ brown composite grips with 3 rivets, and the early short rounded guard. This item does not appear to have ever been used but has minor wear from storage and handling. There are a couple of small nicks along its blade edge. No sheath. Shipping is $5.65
