Offered for bid is an excellent Pilot Sterling Silver cartridge/converter fountain pen in mint or near mint condition from. What I believe to be, the 1960s. It is in a traditional Japanese style; in the cap closed mode the pen is 411/16" 118mm) however, with the long cap posted it is very close to 6" long. The cap alone is 3 1/8" 50mm) long. The cap is marked Sterling Silver and is in the Cisele pattern similar to that of the Sterling Parker 75. It appears to never been inked or dipped and there are no use marks anywhere on the pen. The nib is in 18K white gold and is marked Medium. Again, there are no signs of use. The converter is included. I am not sure if cartridges are available, but I suspect they are. Lovely little pen. This is marketed in the US as the Pilot Stargazer. Reliable. Writes on the first touch. The 14K Medium nib is very soft: it reacts to the slightest change in pressure, giving you beautiful line variation. Every bit of the original packaging is included.
