The very expensive predecessors of today's video projectors, this projector uses a very efficient, pure white"metal halide" bulb similar to"HID" car headlights, and drives 575 watts through it for an intense picture suitable for large halls and near open windows. To which this is very similar but that has a more rounded body style) But the Dukanes, at least, takes a common"HMI 575W" theatrical-lighting bulb likely to remain available and affordable.
