The two pedestals contain 9 large working drawers to the front on one side. The drawers are hand dovetailed and lined with cedar(a sign of good quality) The drawer fronts feature brass back-plate escutcheons connected to brass swan neck handles. The drawers also feature brass escutcheon keyholes. All the drawers feature a working lock and key. There are only drawers to one side of the desk. Below.
