This is a metal notepad holder. It is a brown color. It is a rectangular shape with pads on the back to protect the surface or wall it is against. At the top is a cowboy with wire for a lasso. There is a leather strap that goes through the holes in the back and through holes at the top of the notepad then through the holes of a front cover metal matching piece and ties in the front. The inner pages have been pulled loose from the stapled binding. Depicted are the front and back covers, the inside front and back covers, and 2 inside pages. The inner 24 pages have 4 pages of stove ads, and the remaining 20 pages are graph-type paper and have no writing. It appears that the reason the inner pages came loose is that they were stapled into the book about a quarter of an inch lower than they should have been. The earpiece and the mouth piece are both made of Bakelite and have no cracks whatsoever. There is a tag on the mouthpiece that reads as follows- 323BW WESTERN ELECTRIC INC. MADE IN U.S.A. PAT. JAN. 14, 1913. When the handle on the side is cranked, the bells ring appropriately, and the cloth cord from the earpiece to the phone is in excellent shape. The maker of the phone used beautiful dovetail joints throughout.
