Very nice fibers and the chair is beeautiful. Shock mounts are the large ones and are firmly attached. From measuring the seat height of 14-14.5" This is the lower height. The medium height was 16 inches and my guess the higher one was 18 inches. On its underside this chair the original red label(see picture) retains its early red and black colors. This is a really handsome ivory early Eames fiberglass shell chair The chair is in relatively great shape for its age with no cracks or damages to the fiberglass itself. Just some light average scuffing from age(pictured) and it still has its original early 1950s Red Label intact. These were the early productions that were shipped over directly from the Eames office in Venice. California to Herman Miller. For your consideration is one(1) vintage EAMES LA FONDA brown naugahyde over cream/parchment shell Herman Miller armchair. All-original vintage Alexander Girard-designed La Fonda. Both armshell and base. Overall good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear such as fading. Marks, and surface crazing on the naugahyde vinyl that don't detract from the overall functionality of the chair. The crazing was fairly common in naugahyde Herman Miller chairs as the vinyl expands and contracts depending on temperature. When the chairs move from cold to warm, the vinyl expands, creating the surface crevices on the vinyl. We've seen restorers successfully seal the crevices by heating up the vinyl and closing them up, but they leave scars, so we would recommend reupholstering the chair with fabric or concealing the marks with a cushion or throw, ... morebut in any case, we'll leave that to the eventual owner. Vintage Moss Green Herman Miller Office Chair Up for sale is this WONDERFUL Vintage Mid Century Modern Office Chair from Herman Miller in a scarce moss green color. In Very Good vintage condition with no major flaws. Moss Green upholstery is very clean. With no rips, tears, or snags. Seat base and back look amazing! As pictured, the armrests have shown a little bit of wear, with the fabric thinning a bit, but nothing that breaks color. The fabric color is crisp and consistent throughout. The metal base and and armrests are smooth and shiny, but do show a few nicks and tarnish from years of normal, light use. Also, there is no major pitting or damage to the metal. Original casters roll very freely. The seatback is firm and the angular adjustment works well. The only mechanical flaw is that the lock that allows the seatback to rise up and down ... moreis a bit finicky, but in my opinion, sits perfectly where it is in the lower position. Just a great chair from an amazing company. Marked Herman Miller on the bottom of the seat, and original serial number label is firmly affixed under the metal base. You are bidding on a very neat mid century Herman Miller Style Chromcraft office chair! The style of this chair is beautiful! There is wear and scuffs to the chair. There are marks on the back. The arm rests are discolored and there are discolored marks on the back as well. There are two tiny cracks near the head rest seem on the back, see pics. The cloth is in great condition. There is a small spot but I think it can be cleaned out. There are no rips to the cloth. All in all the chair is in good used condition but could use a cleaning. If you want to restore this piece it should also be an easy restoration. I was told you can re-dye the plastic relatively easy and it would look like new. This is a Vintage Modernist Arm Chair designed by George Nelson for the Zeeland. Michigan furniture company of Herman Miller. Condition is excellent, showing little normal wear. The wood finish is original. The fabric has been professionally reupholstered in a beautiful Modernist pattern of slate blue circles against a tan/blue background which compliments the natural wood perfectly. The chair dates to the 1950's and has been well cared for. The chair measures 31 1/2 inches tall by 22 3/4 inches wide and 22 inches deep. Seat height is 16 1/2 inches and arm height is 25 1/2 inches, and was made for comfort. Vintage Herman Miller Shell Chair / Mid Century Modern Ochre Light?
Classic Herman Miller Shell chair. Not sure of the color. Maybe Ocher Light? It is sort of a brown mustard in color. This chair has been used, see photo where the scratches are. Someone has converted it from a wide beam to a narrow beam, I do have the base. Someone has also glued the black rubber like cushions to the bottom of the seat, see photo. There are no crack or chips to the shell. The sell is approx. 5lbs and the with the base It is approx.8-9lbs. Pink Herman Miller Armshell Padded Chair
This is a very pink padded Miller fiberglass swivel chair. Its condition is good. There are a few pin holes as seen in the pictures at the top of the back. On the right hand side( as you are sitting in it) there is a small flea bite piece of naugahyde missing. Shown in the picture. On the left hand side i noticed a few small marks. They may clean off. The welting around the padding is slightly a different shade. I don't know if it was made that way or has some fade to it. The base appears to be aluminum and swivels. Please examine the pictures carefully and ask questions. It is not my intention to hide or mislead so please ask. I will load additional pictures if needed.
