Mid CenturyRolling Office Chair Mad Men Era Very Good Condition
I have here an ALMOST flawless Mid Century rolling and reclining office chair. I LOVE it and would keep it but turns out it is just too heavy for me and my tiled floors deep grooves. Difficult for me to handle. Weighing in at around 56lbs. The seat detaches easily so I weighed the seat back and then the base. This chair is SOLID wood with a gorgeous green fabric and green faux leather. I believe all but one brads are in place except one under the right front arm. This chair is in VERY GOOD CONDITON. The only negative is that I do have a home with pets and my cat has gotten to the chair a couple of times. The nicks shown on the arm(pic 6) are also on the very top of the seat. FOUR Knoll Sapper Leather Management or Boardroom Chairs-Retail $11,600 for set!
In the fall. I had 14 of these chairs as we had acquired them for around our executive boardroom table. When we moved and couldn't keep the 18 ft table, I sold 10 of these chairs for between $800 and $1000 each. The retail price for these was $2900 EACH and that's custom so Knoll doesn't offer them discounted. I'm selling the set of FOUR for $600 total. Anyway. I kept 4 of them for myself(and yes, I cherry-picked the best four out of the 14 for myself) as I thought about setting up a poker table and using them, or keeping them for a mini conference table in my home office. However, it's been 5 months now and I've yet to get them out of storage where I have them in the Pearl District here in Portland, OR That's rather silly as I don't know if I'm ever going to use them.
