Made in 2007. This award-winning Herman Miller Mirra Chair has performed dutifully for 7 years, and can be expected to last at least 7 more. The chair features two adjustable arm rests. An adjustable lumbar support, a seat length modifier, and a height adjuster. All this on top of 4 wheels. Making it easy to slide around. But be warned, the chair is very heavy to lift! There are no issues with this chair- I'm getting rid of it because it does not help to alleviate my lower back pain as I originally thought it would. I have switched to sitting on a piano bench. Where I actively engage my own posture. The chair is comfortable. And those without preexisting back problems will absolutely love it. If you do have back problems, I strongly recommend sitting in the chair for a good hour or two to get an idea if it will be right for you. Here we have a Pair of Two(2) Used chairs from our office. We recently downsized from a huge home to a condominium. We no longer have room for all our chairs. These chairs are used with plenty or wear. They have scratches. Dings, dents, holes. rips and all the imperfections you would expect after a few years use. Yet, they still have a lot of life left in them. The frames and primary construction is wood. They are strong and sturdy. They are covered in a faux leather. leatherette or ... morevinyl. We don't know the difference, so we cannot be more specific. We do show under the seat though and a reverse of the chair covers, in the pictures. So, if you are more knowledgeable, these pictures might help you to distinguish the covering more clearly. Regarding this covering, aside from areas of damage, is in very reasonable condition. However. The finish fabric is coming free from the underside of the chairs. If you plan on using them as they are, you'll have to secure it with some staples. It looks like the legs all have their feet. We haven't checked to see if any nail heads are missing. So you should expect a few to be gone if you purchase before we update the listing. These chairs have some nice detail with the brass nail heads. Which give them a bit of class. Overall, these are good chairs, just worn and dusty with some cat hairs. You can use them as they are. But you'll have to wipe them down. You can touch them up with some stain or dark furniture polish. Or you could go all out and strip, refinish and reupholster them. This is a very rare office chair manufactured in 2000 with a very famous designer. And made by magis, a well-known design company for modern furniture. This chair was used both in office, and after retirement was brought home and used in home office. There are a few scratches on the back where it rubbed against the drawers of my desk, but I think that they could be buffed out. Overall, a7+ to 8 condition chair, good gas piston for raising chair adjustments, contoured seat, 5 star base with a great wheels for easy and smooth rolling on hard surface floors. This chair is not perfect, but is a very scarce chair needs only very minor TLC to be nearly perfect. Chair is being sold exactly as seen in listing photos, current photos just taken of items.
