Rhone-Poulenc desk set in a beautifully finished 100% walnut box. Has label on bottom that reads"Alcraft asi 33910" Genuine American Walnut. When you open the box you can see the solar powered calculator. Post it pad and pen. All are in specially hollowed out spaces in the box. The calculator spot is lined with green felt as is the inside top of the front cover. Rhone-Poulenc emblem proudly displayed on the top cover. There is a small scratch under this emblem and one more to the left of it. Both are visible in my photos. I do not believe this set has ever been used. However the pen does not write. The ink appears to have dried out. The pen works mechanically but an ink cartridge will need to be purchased and installed. The walnut case is 7" x 6" and is 2" deep. The calculator is approx. 4" x 3"

Primitive Antique Apothecary Desk Top Cabinet From the home of an antique collector. This is a nice table top Cabinet. Nice original wood patina, I think the wood may be walnut but am not sure. There is a front paneled door that has a lock, but I do not have the key. Inside there are six compartments on the top and a small drawer on the bottom. The drawer has dove tailed corners in the front and a nice brass drawer pull. The back and bottom of the drawer may have been replaced, not sure. The sides of the cabinet have a lighter finish with a darker stain toward the back, I'm not sure why, maybe the cabinet was inside some sort of structure. In very nice antique condition, would work well on a desk top, table top, closed or open to display treasures. Mid-Century Modern Desk Inkwell Sarreid Made In Spain Glass, Solid Brass, Wood
This is a very large Mid-Century Modern Desk Inkwell set with a glass ink container with a solid brass sit on lid. Solid brass pyramid style inkwell and a solid distressed wood base. The wood is dark and heavy and looks like wormy chestnut in appearance. It is marked Sarreid, ltd. Made in Spain on the bottom. The Sarreid is a paper sticker and Made in Spain is burned into the wood. It measures about 6" tall, 8 3/4" wide, and the wood base is 1 1/2" thick. The bottle is 3" wide and 4" Tall. The pyramid is 5 1/2" X 2 3/4" There is an indention in the wood for the bottle to sit in and indentions around the wood base for pens and pencils. The wood base is hand carved. This is a very nice one. The set weighs 4.8 lbs.

I have up for sale a very nice vintage/ antique circa 1870s- 1890s smaller size Hand Carved Wood Traveling Secretary Lap Writing Desk. It measures approx 13-5/8" long. 9-1/2" deep,and 3" high on the back section. The top lid folds down to reveal a writing surface, still has the old velvet, the ribbon is a recent replacement of course. Under this is a storage area for papers or documents. The top section folds up, for a storage area for pens, inkwells and accessories. I am not sure if this is Black Forest but it does have very nice hand carved designs- the top panel has leaves.Vines,and either berries or grapes. The back portion is hinged and lifts up to reveal an area for pens and possibly for inkwells or whatever. Has 4 box cubbies(4" x 4-1/2" x 3-1/2" ht) and 2 horizontal cubbies(10-5/8" x 4-1/2" x 1-7/8" ht) The drawers have internal space of 7-1/4" x 13-1/2" x 5-1/8" ht. There's a nice metal finial to raise and lower the rolltop. Rolltop is felt-backed. Noteworthy details on the chair include the nice scrolls on the top of the back. I did some research and found no other desk or drafting tables that compares to this unrestored pc. I think it had been stored for years and has a great patina consistent with the age and use. But it appears that the box was painted(vs stained) It is a brown goldish kind of color. The fall harvest cornucopia is more like a very thin transparent like decal. A very thin layer of some kind of gloss is over the top of the box and the decal. It is an extremely smooth surface. Unfortunately, there are some scuff marks on the left side of the box that the camera just won't pick up. There is also some red ink stains on the front part of the lid and the left side of the box. The inside of the box appears to have been only painted- no gloss or decals. The inside of the box is not as smooth as the exterior. NO major defects or repairs. This is a Beautiful 19 th Century Traveling Lap Desk. The box is covered in a wood veneer and has an inlay circle on the lid and around the key hole. The writing surface is covered in green velvet and is original to the piece. The hinges are original and in good repair. In addition to storage under the writing surfaces. There are four compartments, one of which is covered. The bottom of the desk is covered in green felt. The box is in very good aged condition. There are few places were the veneer has broken and there are some age or shrinkage cracks to the wood(see pictures) The box is 14” across. 9” wide, and 5” tall. It was procured at an Antique Estate Auction in Central Kentucky.

This bench measures 20 1/2" across by 18" deep open 11 1/2 folded and it is 24 1/2" tall. It was purchased from a local estate sale and it is in as found condition which is good. I believe the wood is maple. The finish on the wood has aged. VERY STURDY. HAS SOME SCRATCHING AND A SPOT ON THE TOP OF THE BACKREST WHERE THE WOOD IS CHIPPED, AS IS EXPECTED FROM A USED CHILDS SCHOOL DESK, REALLY IS IN GREAT CONDITION.
