For your consideration is a Mission Style mahogany slant front writing desk made by Novelty Wood Works(1897-1912) in Union City. PA. The desk is 30.25" wide, 37" high, and 14.5" deep(from drawer) When opened, the writing surface is 27.5" from the floor. It features original brass hardware, a single pull-out drawer beneath the desk, and six compartments inside to store letter, bills, etc. I estimate the age of this piece to be approximately 110 years. It is in good to very good condition as indicated in the Condition description. There are some light scratches and cup marks as pictured. This is a well-built wood tray made of walnut. The wood tray is intended for use as an office accessory to hold papers. Tray looks very professional and can serve as an elegant inbox or outbox. Tray measures approximately 15" x 10" It can hold legal as well as letter size documents. Tray has a label indicating that it is made of walnut wood. Tray is well-built with dovetail joints. Up for grabs is this unique vintage wood Italian made Old World Globe. This piece stands 10 1/2" tall from bottom to top. And is 6 1/2" wide. Globe is says"Made In Italy" on the bottom. Pretty cool piece even if you can't read Italian. I can't be totally sure what the globe itself is made from. There are also illustrations of sea monsters and ships throughout the oceans and seas. Globe spins on its axis with ease. Very minor wear to be found on the base where there is a couple tiny bumps on one side of the base. This is an all wood antique child's chair top. It is in good condition. A few of the curved backing pieces need a little glue and a vice overnight to tighten them up to the top backrest. The piece is solid other than that. This is very old. Strong wood which has some gorgeous curvature to it. The bottom of the chair which is sat on is about 14.5" deep. Vintage Ansonia wood case desk clock pen tray painted wood. Working Search Another item from a clock repair shop that went out of business in CA. This Ansonia clock is a wood cased desk clock with pen tray base to front of clock. Rectangular base in gold and painted mottled green. Base is 8 3/4" by 4" deep 2 grooves to front for resting pens. Signs of wear to finish of clock case. At a slant is the working Ansonia clock. Arch design with matt silver dial and Roman numerals. Marked" Ansonia" Attached key wind at back. Currently working well.
