It is in very good condition, with no major dents or dings but ... morethere are some small ones from general use. I am unsure of the age or origins of the cabinet. There are some light surface scratches to the finish. The cabinet has little slots on the front of each drawer for labeling. It does not lock. It is a nice size for home or office and will hold a lot of files. The cabinet is 26.5” long front to back, 27.5” including the handles, 15” wide, and 52” tall. It does have some light surface rust on the bottom, but this should clean off with some CLR, and does not affect the structural integrity of the cabinet. It is a nice size, and a useful item for home or office.

This is a wonderful little filing/ file cabinet that I bought in an estate sale here in Los Angeles. It was my ambition to restore it and paint it glossy red. Or strip it right back to the metal, but now we're moving and I have to let all my projects go. It has amazing chevron boomerang handles/ drawer pulls and two of the three drawers are lockable and the keys are still there! Vintage solid metal file box - portable file card cabinet
Nice solid metal file box. No identifying marks or tags on it anywhere so not sure of the manufacturer. Outside dimensions are 13" long by 8 1/2" wide and 6" high. Top is hinged at the back and has 2 supports to lock it open. There is a locking adjustable sliding tab on the inside. Also made of metal. Inside dimensions are nearly the same as the outside, other than a slight lip around the top for the lid to nest in. No major damage to this piece. Minor surface scratches on all sides evidence of normal wear and tear. Slight little brown spots look like surface rust that could be rubbed off when cleaning. No dents, dings, or damage. Very nice Steelmaster index card cabinet. Stackable. Missing Key and somebody cut the lock off as pictured. Minor surface. Fits the 8x5 index cards. A little goof off and the front stickers will come right off. Measures 16 inches long by 9 1/2 inches wide and 7 1/4 inches tall. Still needs some cleaning. I just wiped it down with a damp cloth as you can see in pics some of the damp areas.

Vintage/Antique wood file cabinet handles(3) Description. Up for auction this week is a nice set of vintage/antique wooden drawer pulls. The bag I found them in stated that they were off of an"antique" filing cabinet. These are rather chippy and primitive and do show lots of wear. They were nailed from the back onto the face of the drawer. They measure approx. 7- 7-1/4" in length and the top one is a hair shorter than the other two. There is some variance in the patina and they are being sold"as is" Could be painted or left in their natural state. Please look at pictures carefully before bidding. Vintage Nicholson Aggressive 12" Cabinet Rasp-File w/Wood Handle
I bought a couple of boxes of old tools at an estate auction. The auctioneer announced before the tools were sold that the owners. In order to go thru all the tools in the building, had stacked some of them outside under a tarp. Some may have got wet and others had moisture from sweating under the tarp. If you look closely at the pics, you can see some dark patches on it, the rasp had some surface rust on it from getting wet or just moisture. It don't take a file long to rust if it gets wet. Anyway, I cleaned the rust off on my wire bench grinder, that's why it has the spots on it. It's hard to say if a file has ever been used if it was taken good care of. If the rasp has been used, it's not been much and it's not hurt. Comes with a nice large wood handle to hold it with. Let me know if you have any questions. Hamilton 10 Flat+270 Rolled Drawer Steel File Drafting blueprint Cabinet Vintage
Nice Vintage Hamilton drawing/ blueprint/Mylar cabinet. Includes two 5 drawer steel cabinets + Two 135 drawer rolled drawing cabinets. 270 individual steel sliding drawers. Great for rolled Mylar's or other drawings.They just don't make them like this anymore! Each sliding drawer is approximately 2" x 2" x 41" deep and the flat drawers are 52" wide x 41" deep x 2" high. The top three grey units(see pics) are made by Hamilton. They are bolted together and in excellent condition. Not sure of the manufacturer of the bottom unit(it looks like a Lyon but not positive) it is a couple inches smaller on the outside. the bottom drawer sticks a bit but otherwise it is also in good condition. Circa 1960 Mahogany Green leather top Cosmetic wear marks throughout Sturdy Two locking drawers and one key, Here is a useful and good looking piece from England. Most likely made around 1960 it is a two drawer mahogany file cabinet with green leather top. Well made. Vintage file cabinets like this are few and far between. The most important aspect of any file cabinet is its filing ability. This cabinet has two large file drawers which both lock. One key is included. The drawers are large enough to house either a legal or letter size ... morehanging file system. We will happily included either size system for you upon request when you purchase this item. Both drawers slide smoothly in and out on a metal rail system. This metal rail system is important because the drawers will become quite heavy when fully loaded with files. The wood used is a wonderful mahogany wood. The top is covered with a green leather top and that leather is accented with gold tooling around the outside. Providing further contrast to the wood are the simple but elegant swan neck brass handles on the drawers. Short bracket feet keep the file cabinet sturdy and lift it slightly above the floor. This two drawer file cabinet is in good condition. There are numerous cosmetic marks through the piece. While we have provided a sampling in the pictures the marks are present over most of the top and front of the piece. While many will view these as distressing normal to a vintage piece of furniture. We have called them out anyways. The green leather top has a few small marks that were touched up previously. On the mahogany drawer fronts the finish has some crazing. Vintage Tan Metal File Cabinet with Doors
Overall measurements of this file cabinet are 30 1/2" tall x 10" to back x 12 1/4 across. The top section is 7 1/2" deep plus 2 1/2" inside top. Each of the two drawers are 10" x 11" x 2 1/2" deep. If more measurements are needed please ask but it is quite standard size. There are no keys to it but the doors all will shut without. A bit rusty inside that can always be covered if it doesn't come out and a scratch down the center of the back from rubbing against another object in the room. I have no idea what these 4 drawers are used for. What I do know is that they are antique. Probably mahagony? fronted drawars with tapered backs with heavy brass hardware(some brass is missing, see pix) If you know what type of furniture these go to please let me know! maybe they were designed to go in a cabinet and then be hung vertically on a wall when filled with something? The drawers are numbered 164. 165, 166, and 168 and measure just under 4 5/8" wide, by just under 3/4" tall by 9 3/4" long. Purpose aside. These are very interesting drawers!

Vintage Industrial Sears Roebuck Tower Steel Office File Cabinet Mid Century Box
This cool vintage industrial file caddy is called the"Tower" and was made by Sears Roebuck. It has been painted brown and has some various colored paint spatters over that- it appears it was last used in a studio for holding art supplies. The top was built for holding hanging file folders. The lid opens and closes but there is no key- when the lid is closed. It engages a shaft that keeps the drawers from opening. The cabinet measures 33 1/4" tall, 11 1/2" wide, and 15 1/4" long. The upper file area measures 12" L x 10" D x 9 3/8" T and has rails for hanging file folders- there is also some overhead space beneath the lid. There are six drawers below that measure 9" D x 11 1/4" W x 2 1/2" T inside, the bottom drawer is missing its pull. A former owner mounted a board and casters to the ... morebottom of the cabinet so that it can roll- a handy little cabinet for the office, home, or studio. This Mole-Richardson Spot/Flood Can light appears mostly intact. But we do offer it as for parts/not working as do not have an appropriate bulb for testing. The wiring looks to be present, but it is missing a filter holster or barn door hinge on one side. There is a socket inside that looks complete. It does not have a support bracket/ U" hook for the can. The lamp measures 8 1/2" W x 11" L x 11" T. It was rewired at some point to have an inline on/off switch in the cord rather than on the body. You are buying-1-one- 2 drawer cabinets. What I have left is 1 with no logo at all. The other 2 you see in ther pictures are sold and NOT incluided. Repeat-you get the one with no logo at all. Each is 16 1/8" deep-17" deep counting the handle-by 14 7/8" wide by 6 1/4" tall. They are stackable and lock together. There is a clip on the rear that slides one to the other and a drop down tab in the front that keeps them from moving once set. Inside of the drawers are 6 1/4" wide by 2 3/4" tall-4 1/2" of usable height-by 14 1/2" deep to the movable back stop. All have their back stops and some have a grooved track in the bottom to securely lock the back stop in place. The ones without the grooves also lock in place good. Original military green paint has some scratches and you might find some light rust. ... moreThey weigh about 11 lbs each before packing. Drawers all work ok and they are not all dented up. Up for sale is a vintage cole steel 3x5 index card filing cabinet. Item is in good shape except for a small paint chip on the bottom corner of the drawer and a minor dent on the rear. Otherwise is in excellent condition. These file cabinets are stackable and attach to each other if you have other cole steel units like this one. No rust. Vintage Industrial Metal Cabinet File Kitchen Island Storage Bin Chest Drawers
Original vintage steel metal cabinet with drawers. I believe the piece is about 50 years old or so. Total of 12 drawers and the top lid lifts up for additional storage, that area is about 6" deep or so. The cabinet is extremely heavy and could be used for a number of different things. For the most part all of the drawers pull out and close easily, there are a couple on the bottom row that need a little tweaking to work smoother. There is also a bent center piece in the lower left hand bottom drawer, that is the only drawer that has that center section. Overall the cabinet just shows normal wear consistent with age and use, was painted some time ago in what I would call a baby blue, you can see the paint is chipping off the back of the cabinet. 15-Drawer Vintage Solid Walnut Lateral Card Catalog Index File Box Cabinet
Offering for your bidding consideration is this vintage 15-drawer file system. This beauty measures 33 inches wide. 17 inches in depth and is 14 inches tall. This box was initially part of a stacking card file unit. Since I didn’t have the top section. I decided to add a piece of solid walnut to the top. Although the top doesn’t match exactly to the case, I still think it looks and presents well. Each of the 15 drawers comes with the original plastic pull. The pulls show typical wear from use. The drawer are all wood. Probably poplar, and also present well. The faces of the drawers, as well as the sides and back have been refinished with a satin finish, and present very well.
