Of note is a quarter sized chip in the lamination on the top left side and a 28 inch piece of the lower rear laminate is missing. Being sold as shown and as described. There are two drawers on the left side of the kneehole opening. One is 5 1/2 inches tall and the other is 12 3/4 inches; both are 13 inches wide. There is also a door which measures 11 3/4 inches in width and has an adjustable shelf inside. The kneehole opening is 24 3/4 inches in width. To the right of the kneehole opening is an area 11 inches in depth. On the far right side end is a door covering two shelves- it is 17 1/2 inches wide by 19 inches in height. This is a very nice and large work desk which can accomodate two workstations and still have a lot more space for printers. Copiers or whatever. The desk is just over 10 feet long on the longer side and just over 7 1/2 feet long along the shorter side. It is about 2 feet wide. Except on the corner where it gets wider for the turn. The desk has a very nice reddish tone to the color. I was told that it was mahogany. But I don't know. It has a few scuffs and scratches, but would look awesome if it were polished up. The desk separates into 3 pieces. And even the separate pieces are quite heavy. The lower side with open shelves at the corner and the other with two drawers. The long side measures 65" long, 29.5" deep, and 28" tall. The shorter side measures 5' long including the upper level and 35.5" long before it tucks under the top section. The smaller lower section is 18.5" deep and 25.5" tall. It is in overall very good condition but there are some faint stains, shallow scratches on the top, and a couple stray paint marks on the sides. Rare Vintage Desk Shaped Music Jewelry Trinket Box -- Florentine Finish - Japan
A very unusual musical jewelry box. In the shape of an old-fashioned desk or lectern. Made of wood and painted in a Florentine style, with gold gilt paint and decorative flourishes painted in red. The desk measures about 7-1/2 inches high at the tallest point. The base measures about 6-1/2 by a bit less than 5 inches. The music works is a Toyo brand which plays"Fascination" in clear tones. There are two drawers which pull out. One is in very good condition; however. The other sadly has suffered some damage over the years and has some spots and discoloration- please see photos! There is a little black and gold"made in Japan" sticker on the bottom. The top of the desk folds back and reveals the music works and two compartments for storing your treasures. The music works has a windup key on the back of the desk. Bulova Brass Wedge Shaped Desk Clock Paperweight 2" x 2.5" Germany Case 1/2 Lb
Bulova Quartz Clock& Brass Paperweight Just a perfect piece for either a collector for a desk. Smaller& more petite than most paperweights. This great brass paperweight is 2" x 2 1/2" and has a wedge shape so you can easily see the clock face. The face has Roman numerals and it has black hands. Not sure of when this was made but it is very clean& in great shape. There are very minor marks that I didn't see until under the camera lights. Weighs a full 8 ounces or 1/2 pound! The clock pops out from the top and I see a small locking device to probably hold open the back where it may holds a battery. My eyes are not good enough to see exactly how it opens to either wind it or adjust the time. I will have to leave that to the buyer. Right now I am assuming it needs a battery or wind up and again. It’s shaped like an old all in one computer unit from the 1980s and on the bottom it says it was made by CompuGift Inc located in Mission Viejo. California. Just a really nice piece and in fair condition, but it does have some yellowing due to age and a gouge on the front under the number pad. Vintage Honeywell ball shaped thermometer paper weight desk
Offered for sale is a nice vintage ball shaped Honeywell thermometer. The device is rather heavy and has a flat bottom in order that it can sit properly on a desk or shelf. The back of the case is white in color with a clear acrylic screw on glass. The glass for some reason has not screwed down totally and there is a small gap between the glass and the case. I am not attempting to screw it down any further as I do not want to mess up or break anything without having the proper knowledge. The thermometer does show signs of its age by way of scrathes and scuffs as can be seen in the photos.
