Tag says it is made by the Milwaukee Chair Co Milwaukee Wisconsin. Rolls and swivels nicely and the height adjusts. It also has a spring loaded tilt that is adjustable. Seat is formed and dished for comfort and the chair sets nice. The way you see it in the pictures the seat height is 18" with a back height of 34 1/2" It is 23 3/4" wide at the front of the arms. 23 1/2" at the rear of the arms. Outside measurements. Inside is 20 3/8" at the top, 19 1/4" where it meets the seat. Arms are 28 3/4" tall in the front, over 29" to the rear with the seat height set at 18" Seat is 20 1/2" wide by 17 1/4" deep. Leg spread is 20 1/2" across the closest points. Height will adjust 2 1/4" lower and about 2" higher and still have a good bit of threads left. Dated 3-45 for 1945 and and ... moreis chair 200 something in wal which is walnut. There are some finish scuffs and old paint drops/marks on it but no chips or cracks. Vintage Oak Barrel Back Arm Chair Desk/Office/Task Rolls/Swivels/Adjusts
Signed B.L. Marbles Bedford Ohio. Finish wear and some digs/scratches from use over the years and there is a long chip to the back rear edge along the top of the back. Finish would touch up nicely with some Old English finish restorer. Leather has about a 2" crack on the right side edge between where the arm upright comes down and the back and maybe a tight cut to the back side where the leather meets the frame so that one can't open up on you. There are some sort of springs under the leather. Leather is lighter in the front corners and I was told to use brown shoe polish on it to darken the color back up to the rest of it. Rolls and swivels nicely and the height adjusts. It also has a spring loaded tilt that is adjustable. Chair sets nice. The way you see it in the pictures the seat height is 18 1/2" with a back height of 33" ... moreIt is 22 1/8" wide at the front of the arms-Outside measurements. Inside is 18 3/8" at the top of the arms. 18 1/2" where it meets the seat. Arms are 28 1/2" tall in the front, over 28 1/2" with the seat height set at 18 1/2" Seat is 21" wide by 18 1/2" deep. Seat is formed and dished for comfort and the chair sets nice. The way you see it in the pictures the seat height is 18 1/2" with a back height of 33 3/4" It is 23 1/4" wide at the front of the arms. 23 3/4" at the rear of the arms. Outside measurements. Inside is 19 1/2" ... moreat the top of the arms, 19" where it meets the seat. Arms are 28" tall in the front, over 28 1/2" to the rear with the seat height set at 18 1/2" Seat is 21" wide by 17 1/2" deep. Leg spread is 19 1/2" across the closest points. Height will adjust 1 3/4" lower and about 1/2" higher and still have a good bit of threads left. There should be a locking ring that goes on the shaft that drops down into the rolling base. It is not really needed if you roll the chair around to move it but if you pick the chair up it can pull out of the base. If you don't like that you can always twist a copper wire around the groove and it will look ok as you can't really see it on the underside of the base. It is a sound.solid,comfortable chair and well made. I am going to partially disassemble for shipping. The chair reattaches to the adjusting frame with 4 large screws. I like to put a little glue on the screw threads before I seat them to lock them in place. It was being used at a roll top desk.
