Very heavy and cool mid century/ industrial stainless steel armchair. Original green seat covers. I believe it is vinyl. This auction is for one chair only. I do have 12 available. All are in great condition. The one pictured has a small area of damage to the chair back as seen in the last photo. There is one other chair that has a very small spot of damage(about a 1" split on the side of a seat cushion) Other than that. The green vinyl is damage free. All frames are super heavy duty and in terrific condition(a light cleaning may be needed) Each chair has a double stack of wooden arm rests. There is some chipping and pieces missing from primarily the corners of the wood. This is not fresh damage, the rough edges are worn smooth with time and use. I believe the seat bottoms are 3/4" plywood( plywood definitely! Not particle or press ... moreboard. The chair seat swivels and the chair rolls around on casters. 16" wide x 19" deep x 35-1/2" high overall with a 19" seat height as you see it in the pictures. Looking underneath I can see that you can lower it down about 1-1/2" and you have about 6" total screw extending down below the spinning disk. You should be able to raise it 2 or 3 inches anyway. Seat height would then range between about 17-1/2 and maybe 22" You merely turn the disk to change the seat height. I lowered the seat to the minimum for shipment. The seat back has a black material tacked into place on the sides. I think it looks like old leather. But I don't know for sure. Beautiful. I found a few issues which I think are not very noticable. There was a crack in the top of the upright back support timber that I had to glue(the crack extending below the slot was not glued) One nut securing that support was replaced with a more modern one at some point, there is a split in the wood surface on the back of the seat back, one tack is missing from the back support, and there is a

She always cleaned and polished most of her silver keeping it looking as new as possible. Some of these charms are quite vintage 30's and 40's. Others a little newer 50's to 90's. Vtg All Steel ASE Industrial Metal Office Swivel Desk Chair Mid Century Modern
For auction is one stellar vintage All Steel Equipment(ASE) swivel armchair from the 1960's. This is one of my favorite desk chair designs from this era; the blend of industrial ruggedness and mod swagger is just perfect. Look at those lines. People! The angles of the arms and backrest, the tapered 4-prong base, the hooded casters.and that big black plastic ball on the tension adjustment lever underneath is like the period at the end of a beautifully written sentence. The upholstery is all original and in excellent condition. Though the foam seems to have deteriorated somewhat in front. It looks like it would be easy to have the foam replaced without sacrificing the upholstery, though. It would be a shame to get rid of the original vinyl and fabric blend, though, especially when the only flaw in the upholstery is just a little bit of ... morerubbing on the top rear edge of the backrest(pictured) The metal has been cleaned and polished. And the casters have been relubricated. There is a small amount of pitting on a couple of small areas on the 4-prong base(pictured) but otherwise the frame is rust-free and looks to be finished in brushed nickel plate. The upholstery has also been professionally cleaned. This chair is ready for immediate use! Vintage Alma Desk Co. Chair I picked up this Neat Alma Desk Co Vintage Office Chair at an estate sale outside of Washington. DC. This vintage office chair is in good condition and has green vinyl material on the back seat and sides of chair cushion. I believe that the material on the cushion is cotton. There is one small nic in the vinyl. A missing black piece on the bottom where the wheels are and a few light orange spots on the cushion that I have not tried to remove. There are a couple of imperfections on the wood that is apart of normal wear. Since this item is large.
