I think this chair was last used for sewing, perhaps in a mill somewhere. 15-1/2" wide x 19" deep x 32-1/4" high overall 18-1/2" high as it sits now. I was able to adjust it up. But when I sat on it it slipped back down. I think it was because I didn't tighten the set screw enough, but in case I'm wrong, I would add a collar or spacer to keep it at ... morethe height you want it. Decent condition. The padding doesn't have any rips or tears. There are some little tiny spots that look like white-out splatter or paint on the seat along with other cosmetic marks. There is a very small almost pinhole sized nic to the front of the seat that looks like one of those little spots. The metal parts have scratches and wear to the finish in several places as shown. All this is very normal for chairs of this age. I removed thread that was wrapped around the caster wheel hubs and oiled the chair and it now swivels and rolls around easily. Up for sale is this gorgeous Clark and Gibby desk chair! The chair is in great condition. With a few spots of wear to the leather but it's still soft and useable. There are several scratches on the leather(see photos) though they are superficial and do not go all the way through. The wood looks great, as do the original gears! This chair is a bit smaller than most antique desk chairs. It stands 31.5" tall to the top of the back. The back rest is 15.5" wide, and the seat is 17.5" wide. It has been recaned and has a wonderful patina that has been preserved and not refinished. This chair is extremely comfortable and solid. The recaned seat will last for years to come. Derby. Knowlton and Co. was established in Gardner in 1863. Several years later, Mr. Derby bought out his business partners. In 1880 he established P. Derby& Co. By 1897 P. Derby& Co. was listed as the second-largest chair manufacturer in the country. It had branches in Boston, New York and Chicago. The chair has tacks around the edging. On the bottom under the wood legs are four brass covered roller feet/ the rollers will be removed for shipping. I recommend when you place them back on they be glued in placed for security. Vintage 1960s 70s Green Executive Office Desk Chair Retro Rolling Chic Tall Back
The following auction is for a vintage Olive Green Executive Office Chair. It is used and shows some wear. I don't see a manufacturer name anywhere on it.So I am not sure who made it. The chair is a swivel chair on 4 legs with casters. The chair has some stains on the back and the seat. There is one on the back.But towards the cushion,where you sit.It looks like a coffee stain ran down it. I don't know if this will come out. There are also a few light marks and stains on the seat and back. There is There are no rips or tears on the back of the seat or the cushion. There is a worn spot in the bottom corner of the front cushion. Its not really a tear,it just looks like it is worn in that corner. I am selling a walnut desk and hammered leather chair. The desk was purchased from FurnitureLand South and at the time of purchase I was told that it is walnut. Handmade in India. The hardware on the desk is quite nice and seems to be hand cobbled as well. The drawers have dovetail joints- very good craftsmanship. The desk also features a keyboard drawer.The dimensions for the desk are: 67" long, 31" tall, 32" deep. Along with the desk I am also including a hammered leather chair. The chair is a Bradington Young and I think it goes quite well with the desk. The chair has adjustable height. Swivel, and ability to lock it out or put in recline mode. The chair has been used and has signs of wear(scuffs on the wooden swivel, scuffs on the arm, leather, etc) and there is some paint that stained on the top of the back of the leather ... moreon the chair. For auction is one beautiful vintage All-Steel Equipment metal swivel chair in very good original condition. It has been thoroughly cleaned and polished and is ready for use. The casters have been freshly lubricated and all adjustment mechanisms work properly. This chair blends together a trio of complementary greens; grass-green plastic armrests and toe caps. Pale green vinyl and a metallic sea foam green frame. The frame does have some areas of wear consistent with age, and the back pad has a couple of nicks in the vinyl on the backside, as well as some very minor wear on the front edges(see photos) The padding is in excellent condition. Vintage Industrial Chair. Heavy duty steel frame design with deep gray(almost black) vinyl seat cushion& seat back. Covering is great on the back and shows some wear at the bend on the seat(please see photos) Covering is all original. Adjustable tilt on back support. Chair swivels around but I can't seem to get it to go higher and lower- I believe it is seized up and needs some grease or WD40 or something to get it loosened. Wheels are all 360 degree swivels and are in great working condition. All four legs have reinforced stainless steel plates on edges. Base is very heavy. I have been unable to find a makers mark on it. Very similar to Emeco. Goodform and Steelcase models. Very clean. For auction is one vintage GF Goodform Model 6023 in a black wool blend upholstery. It is a rather"warm" black. And could be mistaken for a very dark brown in a certain light. It is in excellent condition, and has been thoroughly cleaned and detailed, including the upholstery. The backrest column and four-prong base are made of solid aluminum, and the metal stock is made of steel. All mechanical adjustments function properly, and the casters roll nicely. It retains the original tag underneath. There are some scratches in the finish on the backrest column and base consistent with age, the most noticeable of which I've photographed. Vintage Industrial Factory Office Desk Chair on Casters Machine Age
Here we have a neat old desk chair with a great industrial look. It doesn't have a makers name on it that I can find. It has an adjustable back rest and the seat is made to adjust up and down as well. But I can't figure out how it works. The casters are in good shape. The seat also swivels back and forth, but not completely around. The chair is adjusted to it's lowest position as seen in my photos. The metal base looks like it was repainted at one time. As it is pictured. The back measures app. 31" high and the seat is 18" high. The seat measures app. 16" across and 12" deep. We will remove the back for shipping, to save on cost. Size B(medium) Herman Miler Aeron Desk Chair. This is a chair that has been completely refurbished. That means it has been completely taken apart and checked for worn or broken parts and if found those parts were replaced with genuine Herman Miller Parts. It is in new working order and has been touched up so it is almost new again. There might be some very minor scratches on it but you would be hard pressed to tell it is used. It is the fully adjustable version with up and down. Tilt forward controls, tilt back restrictor and adjustable arms up and down and in and out and has lumbar support.
