This chair is AMAZING if you're into Steelcase furniture. Its in fantastic shape for its age. No tears or stains in the upholstery. Very minimal rust on the metal in a few areas only. I'm certain those nicks could easily be buffed out with fine grit sanding. The seat has some minor scuffs but nothing worth complaining about. I would love to keep it but am down sizing to a tiny studio. I'm willing to consider your best offer so don't be shy to message. For auction is one original GF Goodform model#2157 in excellent original condition. The gray vinyl is original with nary a stitch out of place and no rips or tears. The aluminum has only minor scratches and wear from normal use. And has been cleaned and polished. All mechanical adjustments function properly, and the casters roll smoothly. The entire chair has been thoroughly cleaned and detailed and is ready for immediate use. There is a partial label on it indicating it was sold at an old office store located at 215 W. Kilbourn. Milwaukee, WI. Having lived in that area back in the 60's and 70's, I am guessing this chair could be classified as retro, and possibly antique. It is quite a substantial chair. The color of the seat and back are green.the best way to describe it is avocado green(which leads me to believe it is from the'70's since that color was all the rage then) The wood appears to be solid.
