Beautiful art deco linesIt is painted a silvery gray color and has a medium gray linoleum top. There is also a gray rubber bumper that lines the edge. There are a few scratches in the paint here and there. But fewer than one would expect from a desk this age. The top is likewise in excellent condition, with light wear but no major scratches or stains. Description This fine Heintz Art Metal standing perpetual desk calender is 4 5/8" long. 3 5/8" tall, and it has curved sides that create a stand. The piece is made from bronze and has sterling overlay in flower form on the left side only. The opening for the calender is 2 1/4" long, 2" wide, and rounded at the corners. The cardboard inserts for the calender fit into a slot in the back. All of the months are present and 4 of the 7 different day configurations are present. The piece is marked with the company mark, the item number 1149C and"Sterling On Bronze Pat. Aug. 27, 1912. The piece is in fine condition with a nice patina on the bronze and silver. This is an interesting vintage piece-a perpetual desk calendar that has a neat flipping mechanism. In order to change the date. You flip the top display forward and it will change to the next calendar date. The month and day can be changed by turning the side dials. The display measures 1 ¾ inches tall. 1 inch wide and ½ inch deep. The base that it sits on is 2 ¼ inches(including the dials) long and 2 inches wide. The display leans slightly to the left(as pictured) and one side of the display has a small ding under the number window(as pictured) The bottom has a green felt material that does show some wear. VTG 50s GERMAN DESK LAMP MID CENTURY MODERN RETRO ATOMIC TEAK METAL MODERNIST
For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare german desk lamp designed in the 1950s. Has a slender teak stem. With a wrap-around black metal wire base the serves as the legs to the lamp. The off-angled beige shade is made of a plastic-like material that has stitching going around it at the top and bottom. The shade is held onto the lamp by two white round orb-like screws. The lamp measures approx. 17.5" tall. The angular metal legs have a maximum distance of 6.5" between them at their ends. The shade measures 9.75" tall at it's tallest height away from the teak stem, and 7.5" tall at the teak stem. The shade has roughly a 9" diameter at the bottom. The lamp is in excellent, all-original vintage condition with no problems to report.
