You are looking at a fancy ornate vintage Seth Thomas heart shaped footed desk alarm clock. This clock works when wound but the alarm does not. This lovely. Victorian, trinket box measures about 3 1/4" in diameter and appears to be made out of pot metal. As you can see, the lid is engraved with a flower design and the words"World's Fair 1893. The piece is in excellent condition. I'm not entirely sure what its intended purpose was, but if you look carefully on the inside, you may see the outlines of paperclips. Apparently the past owner used it on his or her desk. Minimal, modern folding metal desk
This unique desk appears to be from the 1960s. I bought it from a couple in West Hollywood. California in 2000. I think I paid $200 for it back then and am hoping to sell it to someone who values it for half that. It's minimal. Beautiful, and functional, but does weigh quite a lot due to its iron construction. The entire desk folds down to be less than 6 inches thick when the two sides are folded inward, the top folds down, vertically to make for a single black form. Back is three panels of steel. Foot rest runs the length of the desk about 5 inches from the floor. Hinges are in excellent working condition. Dimensions: 52 x 26 x 30(W x D x H) I love this desk. Vintage mid century tole shade desk lamp in excellent working order and includes the original milk glass diffuser. This lamp stands 25" tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the decorative ring. The heavy metal shade had gold detailing and is 12" in diameter. The cord is original to the piece. This lamp is very heavy due to the weighted base. There are a couple of tiny paint nicks about the size of a pin head on the shade. See photos. The clock measures about 6 1/2 x 5 x 2 1/4 inches and weighs about 2 1/2 lbs. I believe the case is pot metal with an antique bronze finish. The clock runs about 2 days on one complete wind. The original aqua finish has scratches and wear and rust where the finish has flaked off. The whole fan needs to be cleaned. It has been in storage for many years. Stained felt on the bottom and there is a scratch on the front base where the cage was stored up against it. This is a great original vintage art deco metal table or desk lamp from the 1920's- 1930's. It is adjustable at the neck/ swinging arm and can go forward and backward. It has a clip on the bottom so it can also be clipped onto a bed headboard or a table or desk. The top shade is made of tin and the bottom base is made of a heavier metal. It still has its original paint which is sage green and off white. It measures 12 inches tall.
