This is a really wonderful signed Bradley and Hubbard(Meridan. CT) brass desk lamp in the Arts and Crafts, or Mission, style. Piece has a pretty paneled glass shade in caramel and green-glass is all original. I have had this piece rewired for safety purposes. The brass has developed a mellow smooth appearance over time. Vintage Boudoir - Desk Lamp With Cranberry Opalescent Coin Dot Glass Shade
This bronze finish metal lamp is 14" tall and is in working condition. It has a cranberry opalescent coin dot glass shade which I believe was made by Fenton but am unsure as it is not marked. The shade measures approx. 5 1/2" H X 5 1/2" W. The outside diameter of the top measures 2 1/8" and does have a small area of roughness along the edge. Up for auction is a rare antique piece of glass. My guess is this was a special made desk piece or for display. Possibly on the mantle. It is in the shape of a horseshoe on a pedestle that reads Good Luck Justice For All. Part of the Good Luck/ Horseshoe pattern I would presume. In overall good condition. Does have some mold roughage, near the top rim where it reads justice to all, and a small section on the edge of the arch under the word good. VERY RARE ITEM! Areas mentioned I believe show strong signs of it happening when it was made, definitely from the mold. These areas are not chips, more of an slight interior bruising when they took the mold off. Mammoth English Antique Brass Desk Magnifying Glass / Paperweight c.1910
Always very popular and a very useful desk-top accessory. This one is the largest I have ever had, quite an imposing size. These large circular magnifiers actually are the condenser or magnifier from a Magic Lantern dating to around 1910; they are rescued, polished up and put back to use in the modern day. This one is made from polished brass and is excellent quality, un-marked but probably by Optimus. The top of the glass is domed, always more sought-after than the flat lenses. Wonderful condition, with a good magnification and a hefty piece to keep those papers in place. 6 1/2" in diameter x 3 1/2" high. A few imperfections to the brass shown purely for accuracy. Hello- This is a large Lighted Desk 16" Replogle Glass Library Globe. There are a few tiny paint chips. That are not noticeable when the Globe is off- and minor when the Globe is lit up. Each paint chip is about the size of a felt pen tip, and a couple smaller than that. The cap on the end of the actual cord is partially gone, but still ok to use. It is an impressive piece, standing approx. 25" tall x 19" at the widest. It is on a traditional Duncan Phyfe style base, which is what the Replogle Co. most commonly used during that time. The stand is in WONDERFUL shape, no major scratches or dent's in the wood, and can easily be touched up with a furniture refinishing pen, found at most local hardware stores. This desk is a little over 9ft long, with a glass top that is held up by small cylinders. The glass material is very heavy and thick. The wood is excellent quality and very sturdy. In regards to the glass hanging on the front of the desk I do not have the cylinders that holds that piece up. But i do have the glass piece. This desk was given to me by an entertainment company.
