2 Danbury Clock Company Clocks Mantle Desk Fireplace Glass Time Pieces Neat
The following auction is for 2 clocks from the Danbury Clock Company. They are both used and are dusty and need cleaned up. They show some wear.But overall are in decent shape. They are both ran on AA Batteries(NOT INCLUDED) Here is what you get The clocks are used and have some scuffs and scratches on them. The smaller one has a top scratch on it. Thinner Smaller Danbury Clock-Quartz Batttery Operated. I put a battery in and it did seem to work. I only let it go about 15 minutes. It did hold time.But I dont know over the course of a day how accurate it is. The top(where the pillars connect) feel a little loose. Desk Lamp- A vintage Lamp. It is a simple Blue frosted glass shape mounted on a stainless steel base. Has UL tested sticker on bottom so lamp has to be from the late 80's. They don't UL test anymore. Cord has On/Off switch. It sits about 19 inches tall. And about 7inches across at the blue glass light bulb. This is a great novelty light and will accent your desk or office or make a Statement on a table at your home. Does not come with standard light bulb. I will remove. Since it may break during shipment and damage the lamp. You can use 25 watt up to 75 I wouldn't go higher due to heat build up in the glass shade. This is a real interesting piece. Rare Movado Clock Engraving Ready Glass Crystal Free Standing Japan Modern Desk
This is a difficult clock to find. For a starting price like this! The Glass or crystal front of the clock is in good shape. It needs polished up, but there are no significant scratches or chips around the edge or the face. The little clock itself pops out with a light push. It needs a new battery, but there is no reason it shouldn't run. The crystal on it needs polished, but has no cracks, chips, or scratches visible. Caught a glimpse of the movement, and it looks clean but intricate. I know very little about clocks or watches, but I have tried to describe this as best as possible. This is an item a customer simply didn't want anymore. No engraving plate, but I don't believe this came with it? Secretary desk with fold down writing surface and glass front upper bookshelf
Selling my childhood secretary desk that my parents purchased at an antique store in Vermont back in the 1980's. I am not sure of the purchase price. The age, or the wood type. The stain is a chestnut color. The desk are two parts. The approximate dimensions of the lower secretary desk part are 36 inches tall, 34.5 inches wide, 19 inches deep. The approximate dimensions of the upper bookshelf part are 33 inches tall. 32 inches wide at the bottom(where it rest on the secretary desk) and 36.5 inches tall(from the top moulding trim) 11.5 inches deep. The drawers have dovetail construction and all four drawers open and close fully. The handles. Hinges, and hardware appear to be brass(not positive of the material) One of the eight handles came out of the hinge socket. I have the handle loose so it can be reattached and repaired. The bookshelf ... moreunit has a glass front. The glass is in good shape with some sticker residue which needs to be cleaned. The very top of the bookshelf has a circular mark which appears to be where the previous owner(s) kept a plant. On the fold down writing desk there is a small chip in the wood on the left hand corner. There are four holes on top of the secretary desk where the bookcase is attached also there are scratches and wear from the bookcase rests(these are not visible when the desk is attached) The back has rough unfinished wood showing. The fold down writing surface is fully functional. It folds down and rests on the upper drawer which pulls out. Feel free to ask any questions if you need further description or clarification. Large Antique Secretary Desk/Cabinet with glass doors & pull down desk
I am selling a very nice(and very large! antique secretary/desk/cabinet. This belonged to my husband's grandparents or great-grandparents. We believe it was made in the mid to late 1800s. We have other furniture of their's and we know that is when those were made. Therefore leading us to believe the same about this piece. We do not know for sure it's history- both of my in-laws passed away several years ago, so we cannot get the full history. This piece is in two sections: the top sits down in the bottom cabinet. The bottom section has two doors with two shelves inside that are great for storage. The top section has glass doors at the top, with three shelves inside. Under the glass doors are two door on the ends, with a pull down"desk" in the middle. There are small drawers and shelves inside that section. The dimensions ... moreare approximately 6 ft. 10 in. tall. 5 ft. wide, and 21 in. deep on the bottom. It has been well taken care of. We believe the finish is original. I purchased this glass at an estate auction. I really wanted the desk but this was what I could afford(ha ha) It has excellent graphics and is in perfect condition. It measures 4" tall by 3 1/8" wide. I think it may have been made by Libbey. One mark identification website shows the script L that this glass has(it is backwards when looking at it from the underside) as being an older libbey mark but I could not find a date. Vintage Royal typewriter. We believe this is the model 10. Serial number X-1072917. The typewriter is in near working condition. The ink ribbons will need replaced and the two ribbon roll covers are missing. The H and 7 keys stick when pressed. This is probably due to the machine needing cleaned.
