The Hon Company Executive Swivel Chair - Gently Used - 1/4 of Retail Price
The Hon Company is the second largest commercial office furniture maker in the US. I was surprised to see none of their furniture for sale on Ebay in used condition but I guess that is because companies don't sell on eBay. Commercial office furniture is much different than the stuff you buy at retail stores. Commercial office furniture is much heavier and designed for someone sitting in it 8 hours per day for several years. I could not find a new chair exactly like this one but saw enough to determine this chair cost about $600 new. There are minor signs of use on the chair which are pictured but there are no mechanical problems or significant cosmetic issues. The chair has approximately 90% of it's useful life left and is very comfortable. I happen to have an identical chair in the same condition if you need a pair.

We are reluctantly selling this great office chair. This was purchased at Relax the Back in Sugarland. TX in Nov/Dec 2012. Why are selling this chair? We purchased this chair for my wife's home office in late 2012- she had been using our dining table as her office and I leveraged the upcoming houseful of visitors as a reason to move the entire eyesore into a separate room. Within a couple of weeks. She accepted a new position and we found ourselves both making week-long trips to the West Coast- which caused us to move to Northern CA by February 2013. This chair was kept in temp-controlled storage(about 14-15 months) until we relocated to Austin TX in April of this year. Since we moved this into our latest house, it has been ignored in an unused bedroom. My wife now works at an office downtown rather than the home office. I work in the ... morehome office and although I love this chair, I have committed to a standing desk and only use an uncomfortable stool to prevent myself from taking long sitting breaks. What is the condition of this chair? This chair has seen less than 100 hours(realistically. Office Executive Chair - Freeway METRO SERIES Executive High Back Leather Chair
This is the high back Metro Series Chair with black leather. I bought it for home office use but haven't really used it ever. Now I'm moving and won't need this. The only wear on this chair is at the caster wheels. Just from rolling on the ground, if that counts as wear. It's in brand new condition and is a very surprisingly comfortable chair for hours.
