Plus descriptive folder of this issue I wonder if they were made up for presentation to Her Majesty when she came back again as Queen for a Royal Visit in April 1954 after having had to abort her previous visit as Princess Elizabeth in 1952 after she learned of her Father's death@ Treetops) See also the souvenir folder of her father George 6th's stamps of up to 1952 that I am listing today. folder and stamps in good condition except minor mark to inside first page edge as seen on scan- the stamps appear fine but I have not removed them for examination to keep the folder completely original. The leaflet has been folded in two. And the blue colour on the map appears only on the scan, not on the real thing, but I can't get rid of it. Stamps are as ... moreof the 1954 issue. So no 15c, 40c, 60c or 1/30 as these were not issued until 1958 or 1955 respectively. All have been affixed to the page with hinges but don't appear otherwise stuck down as they move quite freely on the hinge. As it doesn't include any 1955 values, my theory is that this was produced in 1954, they being issued a few weeks after her visit, and these are advance copies from stock ready to be issued. Catalogue value of stamps over £120 alone. Let alone in a unique folder like this. The scanner picks up variations in colour of the item. Which are not apparent to the naked eye- the colour is even all over, not as seen on the scan, which also exaggerates any brown, yellow or grey in the paper and any folds, creases and bends.
