Cosmetically. It is in very nice condition. As you can see in my third photo. The thin metal tape that pulls on the ball to make it rotate is either broken or has come undone. In addition to that it most certainly needs a new ribbon and a good cleaning and may very well have other issues I am not aware of. It powers up and the motor runs. But it simply is not functioning. It would be extremely expensive to ship. Which is why I have listed it for local pick-up only. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to see more photos. Very Nice Brother EP-5 electronic typewriter with original box. Even has the original strafoam packing. This typewriter has quiet no-strike technology. A calculator, international characters, and more features. It bridges the technological gap of time between electric typewriters and word processors(which then led to personal computers) Walmart price tag on the box says $99.83. Should be also considered as a collectable. It runs with either an electric adapter(not included) or 5"D" size batteries. I do not have the AC adapter(uses an AC to 7.5v DC) So I used it with batteries. I do not know how to test all functions but what I did test were good. It actually looks unused to me. It has only some very light wear and aging. And overall looks very nice bright and shiny, like new. I do not see any damage. I remember the day dad bought this for mom from the Sears Roebuck store when this was cutting edge technology. Us kids got to poke around at the keys a little bit and Mom typed a few short letters over the next couple weeks. Its been in the closet ever since. With a little cleaning and lubrication it works fine. Minus the ink ribbon is dried. Ribbons are still available for this machine. I really like this design, because it never jams, no matter how many keys you press at one time.

Up for sale is a very nice Vintage Smith Corona Automatic 10 Electric Typewriter w/ Hard Case. Very hard to find model! The typewriter is in very good working condition with some marks and scratches here and there on the exterior. The interior could use a cleaning. The case has some marks on it but overall in very good condition. All the keys function properly but the ink ribbon is a little faint and may need changing. Please look at the pictures.

Please Read the whole description before bidding so there is no confusion. I do not know the exact age of the item. Antique Vintage 1931 Burroughs Electric Typewriter. They didn't make very many of these so they are really hard to come by. I plugged it in and it worked. It will need a new ribbon. The one issue I did notice is the cord had tape on it up near the back of the typewriter so if you buy it you may want to address it. I do not know the exact age of the item. I am not an expert I am passing on what I was told so please bid accordingly. Shipping- Unfortunately I cannot control shipping transit times. That is up to the postal service.
