Drafting Table- Vintage/ Antque 34.5" high. Adjustable to about 37" high- 24.5" wide Cast iron base is 18.75" wide and 11.5" high. I've had it since 1975, and I have no idea how old it is. It had no top when I got it. The wood is oak and the base and hardware is cast iron. I have the steel clips to attach the top. At some point there was another circular support bar, on the far side. The Drafting Table has a wood top. Cast iron base with 3 cast iron legs, and an arm piece for attachments on the center post. Also included are two swing out arm pieces(that attach to the arm piece on the center post) one is a tray and the other we are calling a storage desk with cup holder(only one arm piece can be attached at a time, interchangeable) The desk will extend(center extension) and will pivot at the center(both tightening screws do work) We believe the desk is complete but please view pictures in case we missed something(what you see is what we have) This is a very unique piece that is usually only found in museum! It does have some wear and some abrasions to surfaces and finish with the flat drawing/drafting board top showing some abrasion to top surface(see pics) I can see no prominent cracks or chips to frame-has some smaller chips, there is a thin piece of board which is attached to one side of top of drawing board which looks like a decorative rather than functional piece-it is a stip of board along the outside rim-it has a crack and has been reglued to side of table-this decorative strip shows some damage-see last pic provided of this feature. Original Early 1900s J. Foot& Son London"Adapta Bed Table" or Drafting Table This is a rare piece of furniture from London. England. Designed for multiple purposes, this adjustable table features a decorative wrought iron stand and mahogany table top in great condition for its age. Made in the early 1900s, the advertisement shown in this listing depicts this one as"No. 4" the deluxe model with nickel plated metal parts being used for a bedside table. There are a number of potential uses for this table so use your imagination! There is a bit of rust here and there but I am selling this"as found" in its original condition leaving it to the new owner to restore to their liking. The table top measures about 18" x 27" and has minor surface scratches. It has two book holder brackets that are spring loaded ... morein good working condition. The table simply screws into the locking system and can be positioned in any direction by tilting it one way or another by depressing the top metal knob on top. It snaps into place with a well engineered interlocking system that still works well. The table height can be raised from about 31" to about 44" as shown in the photos. J. Here's a vintage E.H. Sheldon drafting table from the 1930's. It is a great candidate for restoration. When I purchased it some years ago it came with some extra pieces shown in the photo. It was made sturdy. As you will see if you google some of the old EH sheldon ads from the'30's. The drawers are dovetailed. The top of one of the drawers has been cracked off, but the piece has been saved and coud easily be glued back on. The rear of the cabinet has a hole in it as seen in the pic. I bought this drafting table from a individual who inheriated it from his grandfather who intern recieved it from a dayton Ohio firm when he retired in the early 60's so the story goes. The drafting table does not show any lableing regarding the manufacture but it is clearly an antique. The diminsions: Table Top 60" Long x 36" Wide x 1" Thick. When cranked all the way down with the table top flat it sit approximately 35" above the floor. When cranked all the way up with the table top flat it sit approximately 47" above the floor. To raise and lower the drafting you release the pressure by turning a spicket type handle see picture number 9. Then you turn the wheel see picture 9 and then 11 for close up. Once you have the drafting table at the desired ... moreheight you turn the spicket clockwise to apply pressure to the mechanism to secure the desired height. The drafting table angles approximately 80 degrees in both directions. Antique Steampunk NYB Company NY Vintage Industrial Cast Iron Drafting Table. Table Top is approximately 81 1/2" Long x 40 1/2" Wide x 1 1/8" Thick. When cranked all the way down with the table top flat it sit approximately 38" above the floor. When cranked all the way up with the table top flat it sit approximately 46" above the floor. To raise and lower the drafting table you turn the lower wheel facing the draftperson/architect. You turn the wheel clockwise to raise the drafting table or counterclockwise to lower the drafting table. Once you have the drafting table at the desired height it stays in that position until you turn the wheel. The drafting table tilts/angles approximately 75 degrees towards the draftperson/architect without the two bolts as seen in the photo there is an additional 5 to 10 degrees of ... moretilt towards the draftperson/architect. The bolts are there because the retired engineer who used this drafting table for work changed its function to a regular table for his reasons. To adjust the drafting table top to the tilt/angle you want you turn the top wheel which is facing out on the right side of the drafting table. This is a nice drafting table base. The height is adjustable. It extends from 31" tall to 41" tall. The base is 30" wide and 25 1/2" deep. There is one screw missing. It is on the side and the table is functional without it. Also. There is a chip on the underside of one of the wood pieces, see the last picture, it isn't visible from the top, you have to turn the base over to see it. There are normal scratches and scuffs. We didn't polish it but I think it would really come alive with some Liquid Gold. Overall it is still an attractive and very useable table base. We will disassemble it for shipping. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to ship it.

ANTIQUE DIETZGEN CAST IRON DRAFTING TABLE INDUSTRIAL AGE STEAMPUNK
A rare Dietzgen drafting table with a cast iron base. Our research shows it is a very early version cast only with a 213 at the base of center posts. The table is height adjustable by turning the crank and tilts by loosing a handle. The treads are not SAE/USS standard which was established in 1906 and based on this. The table is probably dated from this period. This drafting table was found sitting upside down in the loft of my friends old junkyard near Detroit. I went back later and dug up and old drafting light which is included- last picture. The light works but it needs a part on the receptacle end and there is no shroud. But at one time it apparently was mounted on the middle top of the board judging by screw holes. The light does post-date the drafting board though. The 3 foot by 6 foot table top has a lot of patina its 100+ years. ... moreWe decided to leave this original top alone except for a few minor touch-ups with varnish. At some time in the past it had several coats of varnish applied to the table top. The top at three feet wide is narrower than most later tops so its convenient to use as an kitchen island or modern living room. The table has one odd aspect. There is a section of the vertical motion range where the board has to be tilted upright otherwise the curved track ear interferes with the cross shaft of the gear mechanism. A few items were repaired; one thread on a through rod at the base. The crank handle was replaced with a very similar later crank from a vintage milling machine, however the original crank is included. The bottom tubes where people rested their feet were straightened. There is still one tube in the middle that is slightly bent. The cast iron base was repainted in semi-gloss black based on some sections of the original paint. The base and the bottom of the table were painted black many years ago and some of this repaint had chipped off so we decided to go ahead and paint the cast iron base and any iron parts on the table top. Hamilton Profession Drafting Table (used, very good condition)- Retail
Table is in working order. All parts available(bagged with assembly instructions and part numbers) ready for fast sell and ready to assemble and enjoy. It is the 60" x 38.5 in table top and stand. Medium to large size, but not too large for a bedroom or den. Has center'plans' drawer which holds full size architectual and drafting sheets. And side locking drawer for tools. Adjusts flat to a full 75 degree upright. I used it in the 30 degree mode which is perfect for arm resting, drawing, and moving of T-square and other tools(very comfortable) Top is large enough to also hold your drink cup and keep it away from plans or tools!

Antique Drafting Table Desk Vintage Iron Wood Drawing Island Western Electric
This antique table came out of an old warehouse. I believe it was used in a early newspaper office. The manufacture is Western Electric. I did some research and found no other desk or drafting tables that compares to this unrestored pc. I think it had been stored for years and has a great patina consistent with the age and use. The wood has ink stains, small surface scratches, all marks are minor please examine photos closely. I'm sure it will clean up beautifully and will add class and charm to any home, office, or museum. Table rotates front to back and is in good working condition. Measurement's Top is 36 1/4" x 54" Height is 41" from floor to top of desk drawer is 30" and the depth of desk is 30" Desk has all original brass feet caps and flat head screws. Table has a pine top and an oak base. Metal edges run down both side edges. Two twist knobs release the table and allow it to rotate from flat to a 60 degree down angle. When table top is flat the table is about 30" high-it can be raised to 40" by loosening 4 bolts and lifting it vertically. Base has used vintage wear. Mayline Ranger Art Architecture Drawing 2 Drawer Drafting Table 37.5" x 48"
This auction is for a very nice Mayline Ranger 2 Drawer Drafting Table. Unsure of age but I've owned it for a year or so. Beautiful solid wood(maple? tilting top 37.5" x 48" The top had some tape/residue around the perimeter and removed the clearcoat with it when cleaned. Otherwise the top is beautiful with no gouges. 4 post original black painted steel base with only minor wear to the black paint. Both drawers work fine and are clean on the inside. ELECTRIC DRAFTING TABLE w/ Adjustable Tilt Perfect Working Order
In perfect working order. works beautifully Compare price to other similar tables! Electronic means that the table moves up and down only via a motor that is concealed in the base. You have to manually tilt the table. The table measures 32" by 42" excluding the pencil rail. There are some residual tape marks and some small paint marks(I used it to paint) but nothing too obvious. Angle of tilt: near vertical to horizontal. 3 wire cord. No belts or pulleys. Stratasteel drawing surface. I don't paint anymore so it is taking up space. This table is extremely heavy! MY HUSBAND WORKS FOR THE MANUFACTURING COMPANY THAT OWNED THIS TABLE. This is a used drafting table that I used mostly as a lighted table for doing vinyl graphics. I dont do as much vinyl graphics any more and I could use the space. This should work as it should. It looks like everything is there. You get what you see. The upper left corner glass has some damage but it is minimal and does not effect use. This is pretty big and very heavy. Antq Industrial Drafting Table Twist Tilt Iron Oak Utility Steampunk machine age
Very attractive Machine age antique. The real thing, probably from the 30's or 40's. Designed for multiple uses. Features lovely art deco wrought iron with wonderful embellishment from a time long ago, extensive height and tilt adjustments. The full tilt of the top can swing in either direction for multiple use. Full working order- tilt top with many settings- I am showing the flat and the most severe tilt top in the pictures. Table top 24" x 18" Base is 15" x 20" wide. Adjustable height to 36" tall when table is flat. Total height is 43" when in full upright position. It has many settings in between for your choice in tilt. There are 2 original wooden caster on two feet and the other two feet were designed with no casters for stability. Table has a nice old original piece of oak for the top. But it is ... moreheavily weathered on the top with 2 small chips and 2 small chunks of glue. I would refinish or replace. Back has a few metal straps used to hold a drafting tool or doctor tool. This table came from a Doctor's estate in the Hill section of Burlington Vt. house c. 1890. I have an original picture of the doctor and will include it in the sale. All functions and tightening adjusting wheels work well. The table simply screws into the locking system and can be positioned in any direction by tilting it one way or another by depressing the top metal knob on top. It snaps into place with a well engineered interlocking system that still works well. The table height can be raised from 22" up to 36" It will come to you with the top removed for safe delivery. thanks.
