Gray Conference Table 10 foot by 4 foot horseshoe/peninsula shape
Nice large conference table. Has a large rectangular base at one end designed to span the width of the table. And a round base at the curved end. A beam under the table connects the two bases. I actually turned the rectangular base sideways to allow for seating all round the table, which works great for large gatherings. There are multiple sliders under both bases, so moving the table, especially over carpeting is a lot easier. The overall appearance and condition is excellent. The adhesive holding the surface of the round base began to fail at one point, so I applied some gray tape and it has held just fine. I have since found-at R.K. Myles-that a replacement surface is available, inexpensive, and easy to affix; adhesive included and ready to go. But since it doesn't really show or look bad I've left it for now. Modern 1970's Italian styling with a walnut and composite top surrounded by black lacquered edging on an angled veneered support that fits onto a lacquered black base. Phew! It's huge. Really It measures 96" inches(37.8 cm) long and 44 inches(17.3 cm) wide. The top angles down from 1 1/2 inches to 10 inches(6 to 10 cm) deep. The pedestal base is 21 inches(8.3 cm) high, 29 inches(11.4 cm) wide and 16 inches(6.3 cm) deep. This table is approximately 40 years old and a buyer should understand that it's been used and is not pristine. There are some scratches on the surface though you have to look from all angles to find them. The edges are not pristine either showing some wear and the pedestal.
