Rolf Vector Wheelset - 700c with tires and Sram cassette
This is a great Rolf Vector wheelset(700c. Clincher) in good condition and complete with tires and cassette. The attractive hubs are in great condition with smooth bearings. The cassette is an eight speed SRAM 12t to 26t. The tires are a Michelin Speedium on the rear and a Continental Sport 1000 on the front, both with many miles left in them(My main frame became a 650 not long after getting these, so these just were not really used) Also, all stickers were removed, except for one side of the front, and non-rolf skewers included. Up for grabs is a great set of very early Vector Pro bars. Condition is great there is some slight pitting on the back side of the bars shown in the pictures. I had these mounted and once the grips and brake levers are installed its not really an issue. Ok here is what is probably the rarest vintage bmx frame on the planet. A VECTOR Mark 1.5 expert. This is the only one I have ever seen anywhere. Even Vector employes only remember a very small number of these even being made and I was told they were only given to factory riders. The only reference I have ever seen of these frames is an ad in bicycle retailer magazine and there was not a picture only a listing of the size and it being a Mark 1.5. What really sets this apart is that while it has the tube sizing of the Vector Mark 1 mini. It has a standard bottom bracket and the signature dual downtubes, and the forks are the mini size forks. Wheel size is the mini 20x 1 1/8 or 1 3/8's. There is no serial number. This has been powdercoated and the forks were originally chrome but the chrome was beyond shot. These are original aluminum Vector ... moremini bars. Comes as pictured with AME dual mini grips. These were nos when installed and just need a quick washing to look new again. Also comes with headset as pictured. I believe this is a Tioga headset but not sure on which model. The stickers or original vintage Vector stickers.
