You are bidding on one(1) Tektronix mainframe with 3 cards installed. One card appears to be a basic interface. The second card is labeled as a SDH/Sonet Generator/receiver. The third card is marked as VX4610 OPT36: TU 2/34/140 Mps Module. Cosmetically good and sound. Some light indications of wear. But nothing worth mentioning concerning cosmetics. Rubber bumpers on bottom and side so can be used upright or flat dependant on yur space requirements. Appears to power up correctly. HOWEVER. There is the smell of burnt circuit board somewhere and I am 98% sure it is one of the outputs on the internal mainframe power supply. I believe it to be slot 2 but this is just a guess. I cannot confirm with completely taking the unit apart but I am pretty certain this is the issue. Power supply is model wplf t64xt64xt02xc2 but I cannot find any information ... moreabout it. I am 100% certain the model number is correct. Mostly 24 Vdc outputs with 12 vdc and 5.2 vdc outputs as well. Power supply slots: Slot 1- 24vdc/3amp and 12 vdc/7amp. Slot 2- 24vdc/3amp and 12 vdc/7amp. Slot 3- 2vdc/10amp and 5.2 vdc/15amp. First card which I believe to be the general interface card. Lights up and displays LED corresponding to: On Line. The SDH/card is rated up to 622 Mb/s which I believe is considered oc-12. Optical transmit and receive at 1310nm. This card lights up the LED's: Ready(green) and LOS(red) The LOS lights up because no signal is being returned as it is not hooked up. This is basic on all similiar test equipment I have seen. The option 36 card does not light up. There are 3 possible reasons for this. The first reason is the fact no LEDs are given for ready type of status. LED lights available: TU AIS. TU FERF, 2/34/140 Mb/s RAI and Error. Very possible that since the card isnt in use that no LED's will light up until used. The second possible reason is the fact one section of the power supply may be faulty due to the burnt circuit board smell. You are bidding on one Vintage BECO lineman's Butt set. The set is in good condition it has cloth covered alligator clip leads. Those leads are in great shape. I have not tested the item and do not know if it works or not. I got this one at an estate sell of a 40 year veteran with the telephone company. The leads are rolled in what appears to be a factory style packing of the cord. Anyhow it's a nice price of telephone history.
