Here's a VERY NICE early King Zephyr tenor saxophone. These instruments are the textbook definition of loud! During this vintage. The Zephyrs were similar to the legendary Super 20, and had many of the same features such as the double socket neck and triple ring neckstrap loop. Later the Zephyrs were downgraded and became intermediate horns, but these are top notch-classic rock and roll horns. This one is in very good condition. Lacquer is ~ 90% remaining. Buescher(Perfacktone) BASS Saxophone- lower than baritone saxophone. Offered for sale is a very rare find. Not often seen on ebay, or anywhere else or that matter.a Perfacktone bass saxophone. Perfacktone was a stencil made by Buescher in the 1920's. Notice the serial number: 737-29. This may mean of the 737 Buescher bass saxophones made, 29 of them were stencils(Perfacktones) Regardless. This instrument is in very good shape with only a few minor dents, and the neck has some cinch-arks where it may have been gripped with a tool at one time. Based on the wear marks on the neck-strap holder, this horn obviously got a lot of playing time. Nevertheless, it has been repadded and plays. For sale is a 1934 Conn‘Transitional’ tenor saxophone. Serial number: 260414. This is an incredible horn and was completely overhauled by a reputable technician about three years ago. Rolled tone holes, split’ bell keys, original lacquer(about 80% remains) Special additions to this horn include an Oleg extension on the bis key, custom made palm key risers, and a second neck strap ring, which is positioned to make the placement of the horn much more comfortable. A true“player’s horn” it has a glorious combination of power, warmth and personality in the sound and plays evenly and perfectly in tune from top to bottom. Vintage Metal Selmer Ligature and Cap for Tenor Saxophone - 404!!!!
Up for sale is a Vintage 404 Selmer Cap and Ligature for the Tenor Saxophone. This is the one that fits the Otto Link Super Tone Master pieces. At least that is what I used this one for. The older ones are made with much thicker metal than the new ones. The new ones function great, but just aren't the same. It is heavily tarnished and has wear and tear, but both cap and lig function 100% You can clean the tarnish off with silver polish, but I think it looks better with it. M C Gregory GALE Tenor Metal MPC 6* 095 got it from 10mfan new Silverplate and new Biteplate by Jo Schnabl Great player like a Florida Link with more Bite LArge Chamber Rounded sidewalls before I played a DoubleRing Link but changed to the Gale Theo Wanne: Gale Hollywood Metal: These are very rare. They have a large chamber with scooped out inner-side walls much like an Otto Link. They were also cast in two halves which were then silver-soldered together. These have more of a rounded throat than the Link mouthpieces giving them a different tonal characteristic. They are VERY good playing mouthpieces. Vintage BERG LARSEN 115/1 offset M, tenor saxophone mouthpiece
This original vintage Berg has a big and bright sound. And has the right amount of resistance/response to make it rewarding to play. The table has some discoloration/pitting that doesn't affect the playing. The table is flat and the tip and rails are in good shape, allowing the reed to seal well, making a great playing mouthpiece that's ready for action. The bite plate might have been replaced, and it is slightly raised up, allowing a nice cushion- it has some tooth marks that could easily be polished down, but its still comfortable to play with them there. This is a vintage 1970's Berg Larsen Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece was refaced by Davey Jarey and brought from a.095 to.100" tip opening. This makes this piece a Berg 100/1 M which means it has a.100" tip opening. A#1 baffle height, and a medium facing. The baffle height of#1 translates to a bright sound. This medium facing is equivalent to an Otto Link facing. This piece plays just amazing! It is bright, but focused and would work best for jazz, rock, fusion, or maybe a Latin sound. This is a straight bill model from the 1970's. Comes with the original Berg London ligature and a cap. The cap is not original. the refacer signed the side of the mouthpiece and also engraved.100" to indicated the tip opening. Tip opening: 100" Tip condition: PERFECT Beak: PERFECT. BUESCHER ELKHART Tenor Saxophone VINTAGE 1920 Model 30a
Beautiful Instrument. A Tenor Saxophone by Buescher, the Elkhart model, made in 1920, S/n# 625xx, Model 30a. Has absolutely beautiful tone. Its plays when you blow thru it, but you will need to repad most or all of the instrument to get the notes to play and be fully functional. Some minor dings, on the bottom, but no major dents in the sax. Bell is very straight and round, The majority of the original finish is still on most of the body of the sax, pretty amazing considering the age, although on many of the keys and pads its fading, but has faded in places on the body too but not much. All of the mother of pearl inlay is still on the keys. Looks pretty incredible for a 93 year old instrument. Comes with case that is pictured. As stated above I think its lacquered but I see shiny gold flecks when I rubbed a tiny inconspicuous spot with my fingernail. What is confusing about this Sax is the low number. Yet it has the 1960s etched horizontal Aristocrat and vertical Beuscher name. The low number denotes its manufacture date as around the 1930's. Has a Selmer SOLOIST" C" mouthpiece. Would make great display item but I suspect. Its worthy as a restoration piece too! Is gold in color. With obvious brass metal base as seen worn through the plating and may be a lacquered sax. 1976 MADE IN USA SELMER BUNDY TENOR SAXOPHONE SAX PLAYS GREAT NICE!!!
Bundy Tenor Saxophone. Selmer, USA, Serial#681XXX, circa 1976. This is a student model horn originally designed for playing in a marching band for school settings. Gold lacquer is about 100% with nickel keywork. Few scratches on the back of the body and bell, and on the bottom of the bow. Small dent on the side of the neck and on the bell below the logo. Some wear on the pad cups and on the strap ring but this horn is in good overall condition. The springs, rollers, and finger pearls are in good shape, and the bumper felts are new. This horn is playable with no leaks or other mechanical issues and plays with a nice full sound. This horn also has all of the original"Adjusta-Pads" in it that were featured in some of these horns from this era. Unlike a traditional leather pad, the"Adjusta-Pad" is a rubber disc attached to ... morea metal disc that is free to rotate on a spring inside the pad cup, so that the pad is self leveling and self sealing, helping to eliminate leaks and increase playing ease. All of the pads and keywork are original. Other features include a front F and an articulated G# pinky cluster. This horn does NOT have a case or mouthpiece. For Auction is this Classic Vintage Selmer 1963 Mark VI Tenor Saxophone Made in France. Condition: Im selling the Saxophone as not working as it will need a complete overhaul and repair to get it playing also a crook and mouth piece are needed. Looking at the saxophone I do not see any signs of any repair. There are no splits or holes, there are some dents and dinks but nothing major, some of the pads are missing, most of the keys seem to function, one of the low C key guards solder has come free. there is laquer ware and it needs cleaned. The Bell is engraved with flowers and a butterfly and stamped Henri Selmer Paris. Selmer New York- Elkhart, London, Made in France with a Circle with the letter R in it. This is a high end estate find. It is one of the nicest saxophones I have ever purchased. It is in excellent used condition. I found one small scratch near base. In a few areas there are little rust spots. But as you can see not detrimental at all. The mouthpiece is marked Hermes. The metal clamp around the mouthpiece has wear. Sax comes with a Jazz book. Reeds, cleaning cloth, and straps. All were inside the case. It is marked Ravel. It also has the numbers 00523304 and also LSC0568.

Built By Buescher "The Elkhart" 30A Tenor Saxophone
This tenor saxophone has the engraving of the elk on the bell inside of a hart. This is the preferred 30A model. Very easy playing. And a free blowing horn. This is an inexpensive way to get in to a tenor saxophone with minimal investment. This tenor would be ideal for the doubler, a backup, and would be well suited for marching band(It doesn't feel as heavy as some if my other tenors) This solidly Built By Beuscher tenor I think is from around 1954-55, and this sax has been around the block. There are minor dings around the horn, some evidence of dent removal, some solder repair, some waviness around the bell, and has a sloppy re-lac job done on it. Despite a few shortcomings it looks great from 10 feet away. It does come with a neckstrap. It does NOT come with a mouthpiece. The best part is that this vintage sax is solid. The springs. ... morePads and corks are all less than 10 months old. The action is smooth and quiet. I bought it as an outdoor/inclement weather sax and it has not been out of my house since I bought it. It also has that GREAT vintage Buescher sound.
