There are no dents, creases, or repairs. All pivot ... morepin set screws are in place. The neck is perfect- never pulled down or dented. Intonation is excellent and easily lights green all the way up and down the scale on our tuner. The pads are well seated. The horn plays low Bb with hardly any effort. It has a big, deep voice. The"Naked Lady" these were all hand engraved at the factory- we think is particularly winsome. This is a really, really good 10M. Now, the negatives, which are hard to find. The lacquer is not original, although it looks like it is(see pics) It certainly wasn't over-buffed, if at all. The lacquer is 98% or better. There is very slight lacquer wear at the neck strap attachment ring and on the neck. The nickel plating is 99% with only a few small marks on the octave key. The serial number, 331XXX indicates a late 1948 date of manufacture, about one year after CONN stopped making rolled tone holes. There is one pencil point ding near the thumb rest- too small to notice. There isn't much to criticize. The horn is beautiful and the tiny blemishes it does have can't be seen from more than a few feet away. It doesn't need anything and is gig ready out of the case. If you've ever wanted a 10M you'd love this one. They don't come much better. It will be shipped in a secure case that isn't pretty but will serve. The horn will be packed like fine china, with an end plug for safety. U.S. buyer to pay $38.00 for shipping. Vintage Selmer Soloist tenor saxophone mouthpiece with the original single screw ligature and cap. Completely original E facing. The piece is in excellent condition. The only flaw is a slight notch in the shank. The shank is not compromised in any way and there is no crack or any damage other that what can be seen as a slight depression on the outer edge. It does not effect the mouthpiece in any way. Original single screw ligature and cap are in excellent condition and this mouthpiece is a player. An excellent example of a Soloist with a completely original E facing.

1966 Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone with O riginal Selmer case The Mark VI Alto and Tenor saxophones are considered by many players and collectors alike as being one of the greatest model woodwinds ever produced and they are getting harder to find every year. Our Selmer is in good condition and has recently been completely serviced by our horn repairman. All keys were straightened and freed(if necessary) All corks and pads have been replaced as well. Overall. This horn has been fully restored to playing condition and is ready to blow right out of the box! The horn's lacquer finish has seen great wear in it's 45+ years of use and looks exactly like what you'd expect any old jazzman's well loved horn to look. This truly"dates" the instrument and gives it a rich. Full character a newer horn simply cannot embody. The ... morehorn has seen several minor repairs over the years, none which effect it's amazing tone and feel in-hand. One resolder can be seen on the backside of the horn on a two-point key bracket. The solder joints are very solid but you can see clear signs of wear the lacquer was heated. The original Selmer neck has been modified at some point over the years with an attachment mount for a instrument mic. This attachment point still works just fine and is ideal for a player using this horn in a live situation. Also included in the sale is the original Selmer hardcase. Along with the case. Kohlert 1958 Vintage tenor saxophone Dark Lacquer EXCELLENT HORN Great Condition
You are bidding on a Vintage Kohlert Tenor Saxophone made in 1958. This isn't the 58 model. This horn is in excellent condition. Recently repadded with large plastic resonators, as well has new corks/felts/etc. The lacquer on this horn is very dark due to it's age, and it has very nice dark meaty tone too! This horn has the articulated G# switch on the left pinky keys giving you the option of having the G# key open when using the low C# B, and Bb keys, or not. It also has a spring on the lever for the fork F key making it function a lot better. There are no major dents or dings anywhere that I could find. This is an excellent saxophone. I have been a fan of vintage kohlerts because of their projection and huge sound. And this horn is certainly no exception. Up for bid is one Blessing Artist Tenor Saxophone in IMMACCULATE. Like new condition. This is an adult owned instrument by the original owner. The instrument is a Conn stencil manufactured around 1970. The laquer is original and shines as it did when purchased. There are a few light scuff marks with none cutting through the laquer. There is no rust or discoloration anywhere on the instrument. The instrument went through a complete overhaul less than 3 years ago and all springs and pads are in immaculate condition. The instrument was just checked by my mechanic and is in perfect working order. The case is in great condition with some scuff marks on the outer shell. This tenor sax needed relaquering as the old Martin lacquer was very poor especially when this was built in the early. 40's. I removed all the dents. Used resonator pads, this complete overhaul is professionally refinished in every aspect. It has it's original case which is tattered. Some collectors want all things original. Phil Barone Tenor Saxophone Unlacquered Early Model Horn
This is an early Phil Barone Tenor saxophone which I bought from Phil in May 2008. Right around the time he was getting ready to introduce his newer line of horns with several models to choose from such as the Classic, etc. This model was made when there pretty much one style horn to choose from and several lacquer choices. This is the unlacquered model with straight tone holes. While I'm primarily an alto player, this became my first choice whenever I needed to play some tenor. The intonation is excellent and it has a big, powerful sound! These characteristics were extremely helpful for me as an alto player trying to sound like a"real" tenor player. The horn is in very good condition. Everything is original except the neck cork. The pads are still in excellent shape as it was played somewhat regularly but not extensively. There ... moreare no dents or dings. The neck cork was replaced and is now in very good shape. The horn played right out of the box and has had only one slight leak adjustment in the 5 years I've owned it. The metal has started to turn color as you would expect an unlacquered horn to do. I tried to capture that in my photos. About the only negative aspect of its appearance it the water spotting on the brass near the keys. If you look at the photo of the lower stack you can see what I mean. It's a little tough for me to reach in there and clean it without risking knocking something out of adjustment so I figured I'd leave that until I took the horn in for pad replacement and other repairs. As I mentioned. The horn hasn't needed any of that yet. If you have any questions or need a photo or 2 of a specific detail. Let me know and I will try to accommodate you. 1963 Kohlert Bel-Air tenor sax saxophone
1963 Kohlert stenciled as"Bel-Air" Very similar to the respected Regent and Bixley models and is stamped"MADE IN GERMANY" It has rolled tone holes so. Even though it is a stencil, they didn't cut corners on this one. The neck and body are solid, much more solid than today's saxes. It has a good core tone and can be pushed very loud. This sax has modern ergonomics and a comfortable thumb hook(my pet peeve) It plays fast. It has not been"played out" The keywork is solid and tight. The pads are in good condition. They won't need to be changed for some time. This saxophone plays very well from top to bottom. The finish is excellent! There is some crazing in the lacquer at the bottom of the sax(see close up pictures) but it is not peeling away. Selmer Reference 36 Tenor Saxophone Very good condition. Dark Honey Gold Lacquer Custom Gold palm key extensions make the ergonomics great, The feel is very good. 99% lacquer Palm key extensions should be able to be safely taken off if desired This tenor has worked great on many gigs all over the states and abroad. This horn was used regularly at weekend gigs and cruise ship gigs. Not put in a closet. It plays very nicely. Dark/round but with a defined modern edge. Very cool mix. The altissimo is good. Good front F. F# and G, octave above that is good. Some of the small rubber sleeves around the octave mechanisms have been replaced with teflon sleeves for faster action. I am selling this saxophone because I am playing vintage horns now. The horn overall is in very good shape. A couple years ago on the way to a country club. I dropped my walt ... morejohnson case from waist height. This caused a small completely straight horizontal bend at the very end of the bell which has been taken out. You can see that there is some lacquer missing there. The bend happened while inside a walt johnson fiberglass case and did not affect the sound or playability of the horn. It was purely cosmetic and I played the horn on hundreds of shows afterwards. The 36 neck has a slight ding on the side. Which doesn't affect playability or sound in my opinion. The outer faux leather part of the selmer case has some small holes near where the metal corners of the hardcase touch. Also the zippers are semi-functional. The tab that the zipper is held with is broken off and the zippers are well worn in the rear of the case. These saxophones sell for $6.979 New Used on woodwind and brasswind for $6.281(Used) I purchase this horn at Music and Arts Center I will not accept offers that are not close to the"buy it now" price.

1977 Selmer Paris Mark VII tenor saxophone
I bought this sax brand new in 1977 right after I graduated high school to go to college with and study fine arts.I wanted the most professional tenor available. The music store I bought it from in Brandon Fl. told me that this is the very same model that Boots Randolph was playing at the time.I have pampered this insrument for the past 36 years now and and dont use it anymore. it has very little tarnish on it and 3 tiny dings on it. The cork is in need of replacement and the lower C.B and B flat pads could stand to be replaced. I have the new cork, just needs to be installed, and repadding is a cheap job at any qualified music store. It comes with a stand, reeds,the stock mouthpiece, and an after market Otto Link Super Tone Master Bell Metal mouthpiece.The sound of this sax is very high quality. The bell is engraved.

This tenor sax neck came from a'60s Martin Imperial. The lacquer is gone. But it has no ding, dents or bends- structurally perfect. I know for a fact that it fits the later Imperial model, all of the Indianas, the Medalist, and the Committee I(Searchlight/ Skyline) and II(Crown and Lion) This is not necessarily an exclusive list for Martins and even other brands. I just know because I have personally fitted it in all those Martin tenors. It won't fit the Committee III(The Martin Tenor" or the Magna. This saxophone comes in the original Keilwerth hard case. The saxophone has minor scratches and small dings from normal use as I tried to show in the pictures. The pads are in very good condition with no leaks. The horn has been played on a regular basis and all notes from top to bottom come out easily and well balanced. Made to keep your investment safe. The inside is soft, allowing your instrument to safely travel while the 3 latches keep the case shut tight. There is an internal accessory compartment so you can keep your sax neck, mouthpiece, and other accessories right onboard.
