Onkyo TX SR806 7.1 Channel @ 130 watts/ch AV Receiver
Up for bid is an Onkyo TX-SR806. I paid $617.00 for it on 2/13/09 and it had been working good until the HDMI board went bad about two weeks ago. I researched on the internet and found out this is a common problem because these receivers run very warm.The fix. Outlined on Youtube, was to replace the 13 100uF 4V capacitors with new ones with a higher heat tolerence, which I did. However, when I put it back together I still had no sound or video. Nothing else inside the unit was touched. The unit is cosmetically perfect(except for a small slight scratch on the side, see photo) but I do not know how to fix it. So, my loss is your gain if you can fix or replace the HDMI board. Trixum Denon AVR-2807 Versteigere hier meinen Denon AVR-2807. Hatte ihn selber mal gebraucht gekauft. Er hat einen super Klang bei Musik und Film. Die Front sieht sehr gut aus. Der Deckel hat leider eine Beule(siehe Bild) Als ich ihn gekauft hatte hat er oft unheimlich lange benötigt um eine Verbindung. Zwischen meinem Silvercrest HDMI Receiver und dem Fernseher herzustellen. Vielleicht lag es an meinem Receiver. Es kann aber auch sein. Dass das HDMI-Board überprüft werden muss. I was able to pick up loudly and clearly several broadcast stations using my long antenna wire tied between the house and a backyard tree. It has a strong WD-11 tube with good emission and requires barely over one volt to operate well. You need only a single 1 1/2 volt battery and two 9 volt batteries to listen to this 93 year old set! I used a couple of D cells in parallel. Not in series. And the two 9 volt batteries in series to make it work. This makes 18 volts for the"B" supply. If you want to listen to it for a long time. Get a large round or square 1 1/2 volt lantern battery or use a DC power supply which is available on Ebay all the time. The set is entirely original ... moreas well as the finish on the wood case. Outside of a few light scuffs and a couple of small hairline cracks in the lid top, it is really in great shape. Excellent panel and good bright plating on the controls.
