Misubishi Motor with Aoki 100:1 gear reduction gearbox and electric brake
This an Aoki gear box coupled with a Mitsubishi motor. The label on the gearbox is somewhat readable. Except for the gear ratio part. I have determined the gear ratio on the gearbox is likely 1:100. This is based on me putting marks on the input and output shafts and turning the input shaft by hand. I turned the input shaft 25 times and got what looked like 90 degrees of rotation on the output shaft. 1:100 is my best guess and won't be too far off. However, it is possible the ratio could be slightly different, say 1:96 or 1:104 or something right in that range. The motor is 3 phase 200-220 volt Misubishi 50 or 60 Hz. 1700 rpm, with electromagnetic brake. Properly installed, you can stop this motor on a dime. There is no HP listing on the data plate. It does specify.4KW I have not tested the motor.I do not have easy access to a 3 phase ... moresource and a motor load tester. However. For a serious buyer I can make such a test happen, even at your facility. I am a licensed electrician) I have checked the motor windings with an ohmmeter and see 9.8 ohms winding to winding and an open- windings to ground(that is what we want) This whole contraption is mounted on a pretty heavy steel plate. Type 201838, Serial Number 120513(manufactured March 1954 according to my research) Research indicates this is a 6:1 engine(please verify for yourself if this is important to you) Recovered from the basement of an old workshop where it has been for many years. Stored for ... moresome need that never came. This engine Turns Over by hand and has compression. Untested beyond that and I don't know how well it works. I suspect that it could be a usable engine with some maintenance and cleaning. But it is sold for parts or restoration, as if it is not working. There is oil in the crankcase that will be drained before it ships. Looking inside the gas tank I see old gas turned to varnish. But no rust(unless it is where I can't see easily) The exterior of the engine is painted yellow and the paint is peeling some on the gas tank(where there is some surface rust starting) and here and there elsewhere. There is some grease and grime on the engine down lower as shown. The gas cap has a ding. That's the only ding or dent I see on the engine. Take a look at the pictures to see how complete the engine is. I don't see anything obviously missing aside from whatever might have attached to the pipe coming out of the side(the exhaust. Kohler K181 RT 8hp. good running engine w/ gear reduction unit
Kohler K181 RT. Nice running engine with gear reduction unit. Original Kohler Adjustable Jet carb. Has new magneto coil module and condenser. Timing mark sight hole has been notched out by previous owner; I imagine so one can see the marks and turn the flywheel easier when setting points. Etc. This is shown in a photo. If this is really an issue the whole bearing plate can be replaced so it appears as original. Original gear reduction unit which I believe is 3:1 ratio. Muffler is pretty thin with an old weld repair. May also want to replace carburetor bowl gasket as I noticed it was a little deformed when I cleaned out float bowl. Any questions. Please ask. Minneapolis Moline Reman Starter Gear Reduction Tractor Pull UTU U UB 12V Delco
Here we are offering a Remanufactured Gear Reduction starter for the Minneapolis Moline U and UB series tractors. This is the late style Delco Remy starter. 12 Volt. List of repair parts included. Rebuilt and ready to bolt on and go to work. The starter drive was no good so I did not have it replaced. The early tractors have a 10 tooth drive and the late tractors use a 9 tooth drive. This starter will accept either drive and I thought it would be easier to sell to both applications. I can offer either for an ADDITIONAL cost of $75.
